A spirit guide story
#1
I just recently went to meet my spirit guide. Here's my story. You may like to check out some of my friends, also:

My Spirit Guide
Preparation: My intent was to 'meet my spirit guide'
After a dream, of which I remember absolutely nothing at all, I find myself spinning in the blackness. It's cool, because unlike usual, I feel very free in my movement, and I'm actually quite enjoying it. Spinning out from my body, I remember to try and meet my spirit guide. After a little while, I find myself descending into a room. I notice an open doorway, and imagine that once I've walked through the doorway, I will see my spirit guide. I get a feeling to turn around though, and notice him in the dark room behind me.
I wait for him to come out into the light, and take a look at his appearance. Wow! He's very short. Kinda like a dwarf, probably a metre or so high, with short dark hair. I'm so excited to finally meet him. I feel a bit funny, cause I keep thinking that he looks like a dwarf, and that this is rather strange. I tell him, that 'I hope you don't think I'm rude'. He just smiles, and thinks nothing of it. He obviously doesn't feel there's any problem, and is most definitely not offended. He's very understanding, and seems familiar, and happy to see me. I think he praises me actually.
I decide to ask him his name, and he must write it up on a blackboard. It's quite clear, but at first all I can make out is 'gra', and then 'gran'. I get the distinct feeling, that he's quite a busy man, but that he'd like to help me out. I'm impressed by my guide, and keep thinking of how friendly he is. He passes me some kind of binocular like object - which is actually more like a screen. I bring it up to my eyes, and focus on what it says.
The 1st screen, I see has a whole heap of writing on it. It's actually alot clearer than writing usually appears to me in the dreamstate. I know at the time that I won't be able to remember it all, but decide to do my best to get the gist of the message. 'One day, rubbish covered all of the earth' it begins. The text is lyrical, and more like a poem. In the background I see an image of little hills, covered in mounds of rubbish, and the well spaced text 'r u b b i s h' across it.
The second screen reads 'Well, one day, Jesus began to do something about it'. Though I'm not Christian, I don't take offence at the mention of Jesus, and it seems almost natural to me. I return to the first screen, to see what else comes up. And the vision has changed again. Now I see a large crystal, that seems to suggest both growth and change.
I think of my girlfriend Alana, and how she'd gone to the effort of picking up those little ciggy butts of the forest path the day before, and think of little things like that I can do in this sense. I move over to my guide again, impressed that he is quite eager to give me a project to work on. I ask, "What can I do for this, in the spiritual realms?" He's perhaps, a little taken aback, by my phrasing of the question, but signals in the direction ahead of us, and I follow him. We soon come to a table, and I get the feeling we are about to go on a journey.
"Can I quickly do some meditation?", I ask him, (hoping to extend my power in the land of lucidity), and move around the other side of the table. He disappears for a moment, leaving me to do my business. I'm about to get into the posture, and recognise a man in the shadows. He's got a rounded stomach, has a big white or greying beard, and is of middle eastern appearance, and of friendly character. However, attempting to move into the stance, I wake.
Comments: Very cool dream. I'm surprised it's taken me so long to actually seek out my spirit guide. I'm glad I know him now, and I feel I have alot to learn from him. The other man, I have seen before in a lucid encounter. I labelled him the 'Persian Man'. I look forward to discovering more about this journey, my guide wanted me to participate in.
