Ok, I figured it out. It took a while, and I had to work through illusion after illusion and entrenched belief after entrenched belief...
... but we need to be doing this for money, people.
All the moral lessons about not doing this for ego, that's 100 year old garbage. I wouldn't take my car to a mechanic that I thought was just delusional and only believed he was a mechanic, but if my cars needs fixed I go to A MECHANIC, people. That is where you take a broken car. But you know what? Mechanic services are not free. But does anyone complain? Does anyone moralize about the mechanic and his big ego and how good he is at fixing cars for a reasonable and competitive price? No. That has never happened.
And let me tell you something else, I've shopped around for mystics and magicians and energy healers. I've seen their websites, I've taken some classes. I have at one time or another purchased candles, readings, and hoodoo oils. ONE TIME, via paypal, I hired some guy in Haiti to kill a goat for me, and it was worth it, and actually very reasonably priced considering their exceptionally high level of customer service.
But I also have to tell you, there are also a lot of professional mechanics out there that only think they're mechanics, and sometimes they're not even all that reasonably priced, and sometimes their customer service is terrible. And if each one of us with any marketable talents goes into business now, I feel confident that we can outcompete those people right out of the market. Indeed, it is the only morally right thing to do.

. Can't have it linked to fear and other such... etc.
