Serloco doesn't do a great job of connecting the dots for his readers. He lets his audience come to their own conclusion because that's how he shows instead of tells. It sounds like he's telling, but he's really not revealing anything unless you're in the circle. His circle.
It sounds like you don't want in his circle, Le. I can't blame you. His circle sounds a bit ridiculous when you see it from the outside. See if from his perspective and what he's preaching is very simple. He's basically saying you're experiencing the reality you perceive. Perception controls reality.
The collective perception is mighter than the individual perception. Hence why some things are more easily altered than others. That's the tl;dr version.
If instead of CIRCLE you say MANDALA, does that ruin it for you, or is it basically the same idea?
In Tibetan tantra you visualize yourself as "the deity at the center of the mandala" and so on. I can just about get my head around that. CIRCLE gets right into witchcraft territory and the associations are way less clear for me.
I was merely addressing why Serloco is difficult to understand. It's like he's babbling off letters from the alphabet but only those who understand the alphabet will know what the letters mean. So a circle is more like the alphabet than a mandala.
It's a tease to do that, but whatever. Serloco enjoys the bait and lure. More power to that corn God.
Tanta is an entirely different direction.
