Allies or no??

Help is useful no? Is not help welcome to you? Allies are what you set for them to do right? I always ttelll my allies to teach me how to be indpenendant and how to take what they teach me and do it myself.. WHen I am dependant on an ally for help they warn me and tell me to practice freedom and detachment.. I can set my allies loose at any time and have them leave.. what wrong ith that?
