This is about something I have felt for a long time.
Everywhere I have gone, I have attempted to learn and feel the animals.
Years ago, I Stalked a Skunk, in Missouri. I was bored and wanted to test my knowledge: I knew my distance! I followed it to its lair, and moved on. A good day.
I was travelling here in Appalachia and saw two Bobcats on the road. Went to find them, but they were gone.
On the sad side, I am most disturbed by people who kill Snakes for no reason other than FEAR. Snakes are our friends, at least, if you don't want mice in your tepee!
When I was a kid, I was a brat like other city kids, and tortured frogs, bugs, etc. I bet I have more guilt over that than even the missteps with other human beings.
It informs my spirit.
I don't know what God is. I just look to the sky.
My neighbors have horses, I can't afford it.
I have sanctuary for birds, snakes and dogs (and rabbits, unless I get really hungry)
