Mine certainly does. I can't speak for anyone else.
I think using "Death as an advisor' has a lot to do with it. It certainly broadens your awareness of other's motivations. It becomes very apparent what makes them "tick".
Lives spent just looking at the "outside" of things rather than the invisible/eternal things seem to lack depth. A life like that would seem almost pointless to me.
But to each his own.
