I personally think that your encounter was an encounter with the higher self. Its funny for me because I have told a friend about what I refer to as the dude. I was trying to explain to her that sometimes I experience myself as a powerful, all knowing being who actually scares the **** out of me! I don't normally feel powerful and all knowing but I have started to get to know this higher version of myself or as I affectionately term the dude.
A couple of times have been directly as a result of smoking weed, a few times mushrooms (man I take way too many drugs lol) anyway mushrooms grow out the ground so are hardly a drug. The weed in the uk is all cross bread to be super strong so I am not so keen. When I meet my higher self I feel instantly unworthy of being in the presence of myself which sounds way too schizophrenic but it’s true!
Theun Mares (the author of a series of books about the warrior’s path) said that in life we will be whatever we believe ourselves to be. I think that social conditioning or what is commonly believed in the west does not allow for us believing ourselves to be powerful creatures of the universe so I think on the Warriors path we gradually begin to see ourselves for what we really are. I think we are unable to let go of what we have lived all our lives believing ourselves to be.
I might be totally of the mark about your experience, just thought I would share what I think and see if any of it rings true for you bru?
