That kind of energy is certainly NOT addictive to me.
For clarification, the energy created in the heat of a battle can be envigorating and some people do find they crave that and will even create conflict in order to get their next fix of that energy.
It is easily obtainable plenty of other ways, but to some people this is the easiest, and shortest route to obtaining the energy surge.
