im fairly certain he is refering to... "leaving a trace in your perception" that he is a nagual!
The fool would not be any good as a fool.. unless people believed him to be one!

A warrior doesnt lie to himself as he wants his perception of reality to be clear.
i believe a stalker is a mystery to himself even though he is honets with himself.. hence it is his deeper mystery...
his obscurity to others comes through his deeper mystery to himself!
he doesnt try to be innaccessible to their perception through disguise ...he is innaccessible through brutal search for his own deeper nature syncretising with their own... and hence moving the focus to their own issues and lessons !
fake stalkers.. who try to hide in fluidity or in shadow.. are not honest with themselves... they only seek to hide from the perception of others..... and so their central core is still crystatline!
