I read that remark about the 'Infernal Tree'. As a former Christian, I learned the idea that Earth is enemy territory, due to Satan being sent here
after rebellion.
The question is, who, or what, created Satan and the demons? Can there be any existence outside of God, and if there is, does that not diminish the power of
God, meaning that there must be some other entity , besides God, with at least some power to create and oppose God?
Did don Juan address these things, such as good and evil? What did Castaneda write on the subject? Was Castaneda a demon? don Juan?
I do agree that one should be careful in what is wished for, as you may just get it. Speaking of Satan, I learned that truth is truth, regardless of the
source. So , if Satan speaks the truth, it is no less truth just because Satan said it.
Satan, hmmm. Is that a second, lower level god? A pretender to the throne, perhaps.
