As to hallucinogens, I still believe the old ways. One needs a guide, the first time. If the guide does not come from a place of heart, the newcomer can be
led astray into , uh, unpleasant realms. I was lucky; my initiation was completely kind, and we had discussions about God and Infinity , insights I carry with
me today, from 40 years ago. My 'guide ' quit using about a year later, saying , essentially, that the social scene had changed, he had lost interest.
(our friends were turning to the harder stuff-I ended up using the needle occasionally , myself--I have a close relative with Hep3 from the same).
So, the vibe has changed. Times are uglier now, more violent. No need to look deeper into that. I too have finally lost interest, tho I continue to be
in favor of legalization, as repression solves nothing.
