Now if I could only experience the other seven, I would be a dreamer.
No, this was a dream, but more than a dream. It was a spiritual reality or place? It was a gift and a vision.
I have had several of these over the years and it seems to me that the important thing about visions is what you learn from them.
My understanding of this experience has changed over the years, but I keep learning basic "Truths" or "Principles" from it.
If these letters or angels/beings were there at the Creation and are what the created world has been created from; then anyone who experiences the world as a living consciousness that communicates with us is experiencing the same thing that I experienced in this vision.
Within this vision, I was experiencing and reading from the "Living Book" as Valentinus calls it.
But aren't we all reading from the same "Living Book" when we acknowledge "agreements from the world around us?"
It is what you learn from the vision that is more important than the vision. That is the reason for it. To communicate with us.
At first, the "reaffirmations", or "visions" if you are fortunate enough to have one, seem to just be there to tell you that there is more to this world than meets the eye. That there is an intelligence hovering. Waiting for us to pay attention. To believe that it exists.
Later, it seems to become more specific in it's communications to us. We may catch a small phrase in a conversation between two people, or catch a piece of a sentence going on in a TV show or on a licence plate or billboard as we speed past. But these little pieces seem to speak to an unanswered question that is foremost in our thoughts.
The Bible also speaks to me in this way. Is it a coincidence that it is also sometimes called a "Living Bible" or the "Book of Life?"
When I first "stopped the world" it was a frightening experience. My whole world changed. The most frightening thing about it was not knowing who was sending me messages through the world around me. Who was speaking to me?
I'm not talking about ocassional reaffirmations, I had been experiencing them for over a years time. Imean when I "stopped the world",..when the reaffirmations became CONSTANT. When I was living in two worlds at once.
Later in my life I was reading the book of Genesis. The story of Joseph and his brothers. (which is also the story of reaching the totality of ourselves, but that is a different story.) Joseph is a "Figure" of Christ in the Old Testament. "Savior of the world" in Egypt.
But in his reunion with his brothers who had sold him for a slave, he tells them,..."Behold, your eyes see and the eyes of my brother Benjamin that IT IS MY MOUTH THAT SPEAKETH WITH YOU."
This was a turning point for me. I knew who was speaking to me and who was leading me.
There used to be a fear of the unknown but now just a thirst.
He who is leading is invisible. But not always. Watch!
The message is since the beginning as the letter/ beings are from the beginning. Listen!
The message itself is "Wake Up to Reality."
Believe it!
The "Living Book" is all around us and we are a part of it.
Let's learn to read it!
