Since the double is the self, my double wouldn't be off doing crime since my self doesn't do that nor is predisposed to do that.
The only problem with it is that people get creeped out by it. My daughter's one friend refused to come back over to play since she saw it and has ruined a peer group by blabbing that my daughter's mother is a 'witch' to her friends at school.
Remember: I didn't tell this girl I had a double; she saw it with her own eyes. And this makes her rumor-mongering all the more damaging to my daughter, because this girl is routinely convincing and people don't often disbelieve what she says.
So that's the down side is that someone will see my double and take great offense that I insist I was somewhere else at the time and label me at least 'forgetful' or at worst 'lunatic'. And I can't arrange a forum for witnesses who were with me and saw me distantly every time it happens...because I'm likely not even aware of every time it happens..just the the times I posted here that I've been made aware of by others.
As to your not being jealous Sid, I can see sometimes. And I see that in spite of your hearty protest, that you are in fact wishing you had a double that was visible. It's no party so be careful what you wish for.
