"Warrior loves for a sake of love, does not think
**** like if he is loved back or what the return will be.
never ask "what's in it for me"
All this talk about love and emotion.
What I was taught and have learned to believe is that the problem stems from the lack of a definition of love. And the false definition of the "Tonal of the Times" concerning the word love.
It is the same with other words. Feeling sorry for someone is a soul level emotion.
Compassion is a spiritual gift, a stream that flows into us and through us and does not weaken us.
Love, also is the same. In the New Testament it is called Charity and Paul defines it pretty well; it's long suffering, patient, seeks not it's own, etc. As soon as we find ourselves thinking more about what we can get out of it, we already missed it. It's couterfeit.
It also relates to this idea of giving so that we can.
Jesus calls it "Mammon", as in you cannot serve God and Mammon.
This word is usually misrepresented as money, but, more accurately, it would be called the "monetary system".
I give you this and I get this back, etc. I do something to please you (or God), and I get this in return.
It is the way we think. The emotional level of humanity as a whole and the world runs on it.
True love is a power that runs through us if we alllow it. So is compassion. So, is ENERGY. We don't use it up. We channel it, or should at any rate.
This is the Mammon way of thinking. There is only so much money to go around, so you get the rich and the poor. Only so much currency is printed. Only so many natural recources. Only so much Enrgy etc.
This is true on both the physical and emotional planes, but not on the spiritual planes.
You cannot mix up these levels and have a true understanding of reality.
