Jack Black...huh, I just watched a Simpson's episode with him (he played a comic book dealer)...I really like him.
Well, you can tell by reading that that Gloria Galvin really does not believe in sorcery or the Eagle's gift. She left him becasue..in her words:
She realized that being so closely bound to Carlos had kept her "cut off from the juice of life." She wanted to experience a "real" marriage with children of her own. "I wanted to construct my own world - not just borrow his."
Ok, I believe people can have children and its not an energetic drain, so not commenting on that part. What I question is her use of "real" marriage. She means of the tonal world, of what is widely accepted and endorsed...she in truth wanted all that. I don't want that. I realize she sees Carlos from such a perspective and not one of power beyond death. She takes a very mainstream view, and even if I am wrong, I will never take the mainstream view that all the morons out there have taken. Its clear to see they are chickens in chicken coops. But so easily they will cast doubt on those who are taking a more seemly impossible route. I'd rather take my chances on the impossible then accept the known.
