Hi scout,
whilst some of what you say regarding "followers", is quite close to the mark, your comments on CC's writings are laughable! It seems to me that, to make definite statements such as you are making, would require a considerable knowledge of the subject matter, which, - judging by your comments, - you obviously, do not have.
To mistake ignorance for expertise, seems a ridiculous error. Perhaps, you have overdone the "dreaming", and "stalking", and are now, suffering from permanent derngement?
You wrote,....."There is no way to verify the indescribable events Castaneda pretends to experience of the "nagual".
Think again. If, you wish to verify the events described, get off your lazy cynical ass, and put the techniques described, into action.
It requires effort, and that, is where most folks stall.
I have no idea who, or what, CC really was, but I can verify that, some of the practices described in the books, are genuine and effective.
I can,t help wondering, how, a con-artist got hold of such knowledge. He certainly did,nt get it by plagiarising previous works of anthropology. Maybe, you think he conned some old shaman into revealing his secrets?
Your certainty is inappropriate. I suggest, you would profit from reassessing your position on this.
Oh, btw,.........."alien" IS a girl.
