Its not karma (kamma means action, nothing else) the concept here, the reality is called the Dependent co-arising. Look it up, its a mechanistical description of reality of consciousness.

And of course, you cant deny the knowledge of the Buddhadharma. That would be same as someone without knowledge denying Carlos Castaneda s knowledge.
