my experiences have been like eilias'. i have been there a handful of times - both lucid and not. i'm not as solid as i ought to be in dreaming, so when i wind up there what i see is just projection. it always shows up as a deep, dark and immense space full of hallways, tunnels, or train tracks. there is a feeling of electricity in the air and there is also an element of the dream that usually glows or involves a very beautiful and colored bright light. if you dream a lot with the inorganic beings, there's a definite "stamp" on the dream tone. my last visit was last week:
i wound up in an underground railway system. a man i was with was trying to show me how to jump along the walls of the tunnels. it was all metal and slippery and i was afraid of getting hurt. he said i had to get over that, and that it was much easier that i thought. i asked him what would happen if a train came through, and he said that we ought to flatten ourselves against the tunnel wall. he said it was a challenge, a total rush. i jumped down into the tunnels with him and began jumping/climbing all over. just as he said, it got easier as i went, and it felt fantastic. i felt like i got stronger, bolder, each time i jumped and touched the tunnel. i went faster and faster, and found that if i didn't think about what i was doing, i was perfectly safe. a train was coming, and i hugged my body to the wall. it felt amazing. then, we heard someone on the ground above. the man i was with said that we had to go where "they" couldn't see us. i asked him where, and he pointed down. as i looked down, i could see that the tunnels went on and on, layered below one another into the deep. there was an immense attraction for me to go further. as i looked below me at the lower tunnels, i could almost hear and feel a sound of some sort that was very attractive.... when we came out of the tunnels, i had to scrape my shoes on a scraper to demonstrate to someone who was apparently a "leader" of some kind how much contact i had had with the tunnel. the gunk that came off my shoes was thick, oily, and colorful. the leader guy was extremely happy because i had so much of it on my shoes. at this point in the dream is when i started to feel like i had done this before.....
