If you are a dreamer perhaps Mothsdream it is easier in dreaming to learn to focus your will for a stalker is easier in real life. The warriors way yet it is correct but dealing at any level with he inorganic is costly. They may teach many things like: taking another one's dreaming body even energy body but the price they ask is energy of the one's requesting it. It is not emotions they feed on so much but of the fight to keep oneself without any in their world it's called hidden and visible intent. What i mean in self control is not the same as what you mean, anyway they still know which human is which by smelling their genitalia, but they lie that they don't if you do not see them from the moment you get there you are without control already just you don't know it.
