I don't know if I have ever experienced total silence in my mind. My friend once told me to try and join minds with her '' she said try to feel everybody's mind'' we or I was put off by the guy we were with who said something like '' I don't know what you talking about, I can't feel anybody's mind'' We were at a festival in a big colorful tent. At some point I was sitting again in that tent playing a Hang Drum, a magical sounding instrument and very easy to play, and came very close to feeling everybody's mind. Now that you mention it CedarWaxwing perhaps feeling everybody's mind is to do with silence in my own mind.
