I personally have experienced Telepathy which I imagine some of you have. After reading the mentioned article I was about to comment on my Facebook page about it in a serious manner, I do know what i am talking about after all but i paused.... What will people think of me? I realized, i think that I do not have any confidence in myself and although I can remember clearly communicating telepathically and could probably do this at will any time, I am still afraid to rock the status quo. I think what i would like is to have a conversation about Telepathy, YOUR experiences, your thoughts and how you may communicate or fail to communicate your true thoughts to others in the world. I believe that it is time for us all to open and honest about what we are capable of, why should I be afraid to speak about what I am? There is still persecution everywhere but also in this day and age there are people unafraid to stand up and express what they are when just a short time ago this was not possible. The gays are out, the blacks are, well I am too afraid to try and make any kind of point about black people, Cringe, the Trannys are walking head high in their high heels. Even fat people and 'Geeks'' can be cool. I want to express what I am and I am going to start with telepathy and people are just going to have to accept it. Cant wait to hear your thoughts and ideas.

I'm the same way. I've had certain abilities since I was a kid, yet rarely talk about it for the fears you mention above. It's not just telepathy or psychic gifts that get me though, I noticed recently that I am reluctant to speak about healing, energy healing, even herbal healing for fear of how it will be received. A lot of this is from past judgmental and negative reactions, but you'd think, after a point, I wouldn't give a damn. For the most part, that is becoming truer every day, but I admit, I do pause and consider before I share. Often, I end up not.
Good for you for deciding to come out of the closet! I recently did so on my Facebook with regards to Herbal Healing and hope to one day soon be able to come out about all of my little gifts!
