LittlepawDan, I do not have experience of the FI. I understand the concept and if I am honest I do have some pretty crazy thoughts which i just have to ignore and that is really underestimating things. I noticed you talked about different levels of awareness and this got me thinking about how many levels of awareness are there? For me my Telepathic experiences were seemingly spontaneous but in all cases the experiences themselves were accompanied by a further transition in to heightened awareness, something which at the time was as new for me as telepathy. I am thinking that maybe heightened awareness is necessary for telepathy.
CedarWaxwing, I find music easy to talk about sometimes. Although it is funny, i remember teaching a young lady guitar and we were talking about music and then we smoked some pot. What had started out a normal conversation about the possible effect and moods creatable by simple techniques turned in to me trying to describe the indescribable, I must have been high she eventually said ''ok'' and the lesson was over. Crazy bastard I am. And speaking of the occult I was at a gig not too long ago enjoying the random holla's by the crowd. later in the evening a young guy came on stage and throughout his soulful set of song not one person made any noise, I remember feeling a little bit like everyone was sucked in to the performance. I have had further experience of this recently as I am a performer. I was playing guitar on stage and at certain points the entire pub went silent which I did not like. I feel this is somehow a selfish way of playing but I can be unselfish so immediately they all started talking again, wink wink. I have actually sat with people holding them in complete silence for unusual amounts of time. One time a friend of mine was talking away and we both became aware that I had made him shut up, he is a bit of Shaman himself.
These can be supressed little paw, One could even say if you are quick enough you can feel a thought before it occurs. Or before the dialogue catches up with it.
