Very interesting GL,When you mentioned focusing awareness of the vibrational energy of intent itself, what comes to mind is this....that you're focusing on feelings that run throughout the body, (I see feeling as the most available indication of what intent is doing anywhere in the self). And that doing this an excellent way to turn off inner dialog. I see what you mean about the holding of inner silence as a “:not doing of the self”. Ok, I follow all that clearly, please correct me if I'm not seeing this clearly./////////////////////////note;“The self as we've come to know it” is of course ego or self image. I always wished DJ would have called “self importance”, “self image importance” because that is a more accurate thing to say. The true self, (soul aka consciousness) MUST be held as important so as to take serious action upon it, since it is what we are, just not in an ego-based way. What do you say to that?//////////////////////You said, “ Now, the trick for me is to sustain it”...yes, the sustaining of shifts of state, (assemblage point) is always the real test, isn't it? In other words, it's a real accomplishment to sustain one's awareness on intent itself, (via feeling/vibration) rather than upon thought/self image. Another way to say that would be. “to stay centered in one's true self, or consciousness, rather than it's activities”. Zen has much to say on that subject...////////////An excellent post, brother.
