Just an observation. There is a type of psychotherapy called, "Bioenergetic Analysis" which is based on the observations of Dr. Whilhem Reich wherein
it is thru the breath and breathing that stored emotions can be released from the muscular armoring of the body. They put clients in various postures to
facilitate a deepening of the breath, and what can come up are lost memories and feelings. Of course, as therapists they work thru the **** with the client.
Recapitulation is different I realize and for a far worthier reason as warriors, it is just I see how the breathing is very essential. In Bioenergetics they
make you breath with a wide open mouth and to have nothing inhibiting the expansion of the diaphram -- so belts are taken off, etc.
