I'm no expert here , I just go by what I read in the books.
Don't remember this one real well , maybe my bias . Seems like don Juan said something about discipline as an aid to storing power. Or something in that
area.
By the time of "Tales of Power " , don Juan does tell Carlos that Power Plants are injurious to the human body. From experience I can say that they
do drain nourishment. Used to keep plenty of Vitamin C handy.
Ganja is a different issue. I always thought I would use it unto death , but I actually lost interest. The cost , the mindset of a new generation , to which
I cannot relate, the violence associated with smuggling , etc. Something in my Tonal was rearranged , I guess. On a rational level , I do not condemn anyone
who uses substances , as long as they don't hassle me. I support legalization. After all , don Juan said that people love nothing more than to NOT do
what they are told to do.
Man oh man . If I could assimilate all the stuff Carlos wrote about , I could fly like a kite , too!
