I feel that in this case it may become necessarry to do more than observe.
The truth is the FI will reach out for you, but if you don't involve yourself, it might not be able to.
Find a box. Label it "paradox". Go in it, well, your stuck there, and the FI can't reach you; and so long as you continue wielding your stone the FI will actually do as you command.
It is possible to partition off a segment of the mind and fortify it against things like "fear" and "anger".
The parasite can never use that. But it is not the "whole mind".
