Our childhood, if it was tramatic and imbalanced...that can show us many things and bring us realizations about human awareness (male/female) and where many perceptions are generally contained, like in a cage. Being in a tramatic family can turn one into a rebel and outsider...which can be a good thing once one gets a handle on being different, and thus alone in society for the most part. You many see more then most people you meet, due to what your parents exposed to you in their struggles for peace, but thats likely due to the Nagual link more then your parents doing.
Do I wish I had parents who loved each other in the ideal way? Sometimes, but I know I would be a different person entirely then...and I like me as I am...so my past shaped me, but I also see, after years of battle, my past is nothing...would I have come to the same realization (freedom) in an ideal family situation...doubt it.
