On Love

“There are four questions of value in life... What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same. Only love.”

“When you smiled you had my undivided attention. When you laughed you had my urge to laugh with you. When you cried you had my urge to hold you. When you said you loved me, you had my heart forever.”

“Love is the only  sane and satisfactory answer to the problem of human existence.” Erich Fromm

This is the most important thing in life, next to morality.

Scout writes: "The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother." Interesting comment, can you elaborate Scout on this? It does have a profound meaning when first read.

Wolf: it means to grow up on mutual love and respect in a family. Many families are full of psychological hostilities, tensions, neurotic, dysfuntional, lacking that.. and that was spreaded generation by generation. you guess the deep consenquences of that, the society is result of that. Such a lack, deprivation or humilitation is a root of evil. The evilest persons are the deprivants: hitler, stalin in our times and many bosses in industry military, academia and so. Its not the "inorganic beings, Flyers or the Devil", but this.

Erich Fromm: The anatomy of human destructivity and one more book on topic about that.

The truth means simply to be happy, to live happily, in peace, to be blessed, if you are searching for truth, do not forget this. And the love is the answer.

Wolf: because its a basal fact, its true. The human evolution is based on tha, more love = more advanced evolution, more "humane", advanced wisdom/inteligence.

and Offcourse the critical is the sexual act of conception itself ) its an act of awareness.

if you have a sex with some you love, thats a quantum evolutionary leap forward and it means to experience the cosmic orgasm )

I glimpse what your saying Scout and its has good intent, myself being the Paul Revere of the Foreign Installation still would comment differently on that aspect but agree children growing up in loving homes try and make their own loving homes when its their time for the main part.

Our childhood, if it was tramatic and imbalanced...that can show us many things and bring us realizations about human awareness (male/female) and where many perceptions are generally contained, like in a cage. Being in a tramatic family can turn one into a rebel and outsider...which can be a good thing once one gets a handle on being different, and thus alone in society for the most part. You many see more then most people you meet, due to what your parents exposed to you in their struggles for peace, but thats likely due to the Nagual link more then your parents doing.

Do I wish I had parents who loved each other in the ideal way? Sometimes, but I know I would be a different person entirely then...and I like me as I am...so my past shaped me, but I also see, after years of battle, my past is nothing...would I have come to the same realization (freedom) in an ideal family situation...doubt it.

Hello
“There

spirit made? What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for? The
answer to each is the same. Only love.”
I like this one.
As of lately so we speak, I found out I have nothing to die for.
I used to have a Vision(I realize it "had to do" with love) to unite with a person of the opposite sex but ... but.
The wish is still alive but I think Spirit has other plans...
I liked this quote. I think only love can make things happen, so to speak.
Warm wishes

NickVtz: Hello. I agree 100 %.
This is precisely my life experience. On this error. The problem of motivation for the practice. I have been heartless bastard all my life. Have even met nagual group, not going with them.
But then You have the practice. Where the heart is the center of the practice. You simply practice, and then Your head crown chakra got cleared from the foreign energy in your head chakra, whats the mechanism of enlightment.

No, I have been coward. The basic experience and confusion of every young man on this earth.
Then one day, i have met nagual group, "brave".
A king for a day.  Fool for a lifetime.
Then i have lost and read The Active Side of Infinity and The Magical Passes book (next to basic yoga description), on the mechanism of enlightment.

Yet we do have to "shift" to love.  Seeing someone else's world, their perceptions.  Love at first sight, cool, but a quick shift.  Takes work to to remember that place so we can return.

I'm finding out about love now. And that it really doesn't have much to do with what I thought it was (imagine that!). I'm finding that it is a distinctive quality of awareness...like an energetic signature that connects me on the level of feeling to whatever it is I'm aware of. I'm finding that its object can be absolutely anything and everything...in fact, it seems to me, that the most unlikely of places seems to kindle the experience of it that much more richly, as if to prove itself as treasure to be found anywhere anytime.

Love! It's what comes out of the woodwork

Love is often the mechanization of the FI. People fall in and out of love due to its conditional nature. Like one may love someone based on something specific, but then as the person gets older they change and also more is known of the person and then that reason for "love" is not so prominent as everything that takes its place.
The only thing worth dying for is maybe love, but I would say the love derived from the nagual link. You find it in others it is indeed a joy pleasure and a love thats better than love. It surpasses the 'individual'.
