when i read that part, i saw that the word represented the entirety of creation - the only way i can describe it is that i saw it as the comment shows, going through each letter.. i saw, like a movie, God creating heaven and earth through this word, the same image i see when reading Genesis.. and it was helpful that you pointed out that this is like the tonal, makes sense to me.
yes the word AUM is in a lot of books, and i have used mantras containing the word in meditation to achieve inner silence, such as AUM TAT SAT AUM, etc..
i wrote of this word in the op as i saw how significant this word is whilst reading that part of the book. as i was reading the book i started being my true Self, and i directly experienced being One with God, it seemed to be that i shifted into this as a permanent state, and i was worried that i would lose it.. i woke up the next day feeling like my usual self again, and saw the difference straight away.. and just the memory of the moment described above where i saw the word represented the entirety of creation brought the experience back, and i vibrated the word (which to me means saying the word and feeling the vibration at the same time) AUM and i was back to being One with God instantly.. i see that this word is useful now, having read about it during the experience of being One with God, as a way to bring this experience back.. really i am always connected with the infinite and i just kept forgetting..
