i used true Self as a way of relating concepts in the book to Castanedian concepts, i like the term, yet i also like energy body, i see they are the same thing.
the way i see it, my true self is the natural state of inner silence, it is the true Self as it is before the physical body steps in with it's consciousness (internal dialog / judgements). i see that i was identifying with the physical body, and that now - by identifying with the true Self, or the energy body, i enter into inner silence, and can stop / direct my ID at will, and also see (as castaneda describes) the true essence of anything.. the reason for this i see that the true Self or the energy body is directly connected with everything, the nagual or God, the true Self is a pure being of light and immortal like God (as it is a drop in the Ocean)..
there is no difference between the state of inner silence and when i say i have identified with my true Self. this is what don Juan described as identifying with the abstract. the true Self sees the world in terms of energy, the physical body perceives in terms of objects. i see that the true Self is using the physical body as a vehicle to experience reality, when i say this i mean that the physical body is a projection and the true Self is like the energy body underlying the physical body.
i feel that i am just starting to understand all of this myself, so my seeing may not be 100% accurate, yet i must practice
