Thank You Thread...a thread for thanking people
#1
Thank you Wolf for providing this forum and for being able to maintain a levelheadedness when things become intense.  Thank you for the way you answered Gonzos question purely without accepting or fueling the challenge.  Thank you for rising up to that.  Thank you for at least seeming to take your role as a host seriously and using the label you have given yourself to rise up to the challenges of hosting.  Thank you for giving space to others here...like how you gave space to Sacs frustration.  He seemed to need it.  Thank you for seeming to care about peoples needs.

Thank you EL for coming here and posting words I needed to read when I needed to read them. Thank you for staying you when things were going crazy. If you are going I will miss your presence. Thank you for bringing comic relief to threads before anyone started taking them too seriously...and for the fine music. Thank you for changing the name to the thread so many times...it was a delight every time to discover it each day. You are the most real person on there imo...thank you for bringing a sense of sanity to things.

Thank you Sac for continuing to express yourself when others tried to shut you down. You dont the strength and courage you have given others. Thank you for being willing to be vulnerable when people were not treating you very nicely. It takes real strength to do that. Thank you also for posting about working out and juicing because it helped me keep my focus on my own wellbeing. Thank you for identifying and sharing how the conversations in the SR were having a negative effect...it helped me look at that within myself as well. Thank you for choosing health over that negativity. Thank you for being you.

Thank you Senear, and everyone else in this forum, for overlooking my intrusion into the dream thread. I apologize for that and for needing that space. You didnt have to give me that space and still you did...and you did so nicely. I want you to know that I really appreciate that...it meant alot to me. It still means alot to me. Thank you.

Yw Wolf.

Good news, I landed a job so my pursuit of my passion and interest in consciousness is going to have to take a backseat for a while. I have really enjoyed my time here and will read when I can. Thanks everyone.

Life is pretty busy in my world these days...however, I wanted to share what this place has meant for me in the meantime. My time in the SR forum affected me more than I thought. I am not sure what about it got under my skin, however, it did. I looked at my sensitivity. For awhile I felt like I wished I wasnt so sensitive. However, I kept thinking about how Wolf responded to a few things that could have gone other ways and this helped me create a calm in the storm. I began expanding that until I remembered (again) that my sensitivity is what led me to these interests. Slowly I began appreciating (again) that my sensitivity is a part of who I am and that it is ok that it is there.

What I got here wasnt directly connected, however, it still helped...thanks.

A calm in the storm is a good description of the warrior's sober intent.

**A calm in the storm is a good description of the warrior's sober intent**
Well, that's quite an observation!
Greetings and thanks to you here, at the start of 2012.
I am still here, becoming an old man, turning 62 next week.
I often wonder how and why you do this, and keep a family together. Do you have a day job?  I do, and it keeps me away from you Shamans.
I predict the end of the world in 2012. Of course, it ends every day; a new one tomorrow.  hehehe
Perhaps,  I will end the world by changing my mind, and moving into a new AP!
It's not easy, as I began so late in life, but that's the nature of Power, or Spirit, or whatever we call that infinity beyond the life of mortals.

Hi Hawkeye Crow! Nice to see you back here and read your insights again. I think last time I responded to one of your posts, I went by the name Nu Lang (in case you are wondering who I am).

I would like to congratulate Sacateca and possibly scout1 for not having brains clogged with ****. I cant be certain of it. And Nagual Wolf for providing a space to pick the bones of Castenada.

I recomnend You to accelerate dreaming practices/empower Your life. Make no mistake, this is for real.

And is it true Scout1, that you think I do not know the gravity of the situation? This is a powerful suggestion, not all carry the right to implement it in ones brain unless you can take the recoil of failure.

Sikimiwa: Yes, sure thing.. precisely. I dont doubt it.

Its a such a magnitude that i set a moratorium.

But the question, like an iterative matrix, is solved. And i proudly ( in this time) hold the solution.

I will write You soon PM to make sure You are perfectly informed about that, too, as You are the man who will be 100 % informed.

i could not imagine the friendly gestalt of this site 10 years ago. This imagination is a vital, gentle link to this world.

The fact You can have a friend/friends into this enterprise here is what is really extraordinary.

Encounters With The Nagual: Conversations with Carlos Castaneda. 2004 by Armando Torres
