John Weeks (Gonzo) has passed on

John Weeks, who posted here sometimes under the name of Gonzo, was found dead in his front yard yesterday. I don't have any details, nor do I know if they should be posted here anyway. I'd grown close to John over the last couple years and will miss him a lot. I'm still in shock at the news.
Goodbye my friend. I'll see ya when I soar past the eagle someday myself. If not by other means, I'll get there "through sheer tyranny of will", and "that is so".

Gonzo's last words in the forum were less than a month ago 3/26 in Billy's Journey of Spiritual Meditations.  They were # 41 We await the response.   &  # 42 Where's the response?  

He wrote this after Kaomea said to Billy:
 I can see why you feel you'll need more personal power to ensure your survival.
You are nice when people help you attain power. You should be nice regardless of what people do or don't do for you.
Billy is not a nice person and he is scrambling for power to survive. Will he gather it in time?

Hey Gonzo,
two things:  I want you to know you had no ill-effect in the Billy/Kaomea exchange.
The post I was in trouble for was already written before your first post, and designed for the exact time it appeared.
  The other thing-- I've seen enough of your past posts, to know I like your dry cutting humor and style of delivery.  There are a few regulars that I see would find you a welcomed addition.
  I don't send many messages, so feel honored/lol.
  Seriously, so come to this forum and post.  Or is it you are becoming senile, retarded, or otherwise challenged?  I can't help it, Gonzo; I am becoming totally irreverent.

Gonzo was a great guy and a great contribution to those who got to know him.

May he merging in the dark sea of awareness be smooth but have some good surprises for him. He would value that )))

Thank you JJ for letting us know that Gonzo has passed. I hope he met power in his final moments and did his dance. He was a pretty unique character here on the forums, but, yea, for a few years he has been more a chatter than a poster. He also had a gift for keeping a space for people to chat at. I hope someone takes over that post and that the chat does not get lost.

Those of us who knew him should keep their spirit eyes open to see if/that he has a good passing, and in case he might need some guidance to be there for him. This is something we can look into for him. He found kindred souls here and we wish him well... that counts in the spirit world.

Gonzo was awesome. I will miss him. A good seer. I remember being in the second attention with Gonzo once and we were looking at a strange idea of the world. It made the world seem not real. Then one of us slipped up and made a typo and called earth eartj. It clearly was not the same earth as we knew previously and it made us laugh. Gonzo could see the truth. That being said bon voyage.
