Hello Members. To celebrate 10 years on the web I've decided on a new name for this place and as you may have noticed its now THE NEW SEERS. Hope you like it and there will some more graphic changes in the future. I choose this name to represent you the members. For you are the new seers and each and everyone of you greatly contribute to this site and to the legacy of Carlos Castaneda. The old seers were more into achieving power both dark and light, they enlisted the inorganics and some even became tenants and found ways to "live forever". The new seers want to make the knowledge more mainstream and enlighten humanity with dreaming and shifts. The new seers are the legacy of Castaneda and use his insights and techniques to explore this vastness we call infinity.

I have an idea for the next name the next incarnation of this place. The next name should be found in dreaming by either the website owner or Moderators. If you actually want this place to be what i think you do, then you have to stalk it as an act of power. This should be an ongoing challenge for all moderators and owner. Other than that it is likely to remain a mundane vipers pit of speculation gossip and mediocrity. Congrats on 10 years though. But maybe its time to use your unbending intent as a sorcerer does. Dream this place into being as an act of power.

I was about to leave when i thought you were being snippy at me. Yours was the first response i had here at the forum and i thought if was going to typical i wouldnt hang around.
But rather than get side tracked by that what do you think about finding names via dreaming?

Laughing. ok so i might well be late to the party, but i am on target.
I did say stalking was some sort of wierd interaction with time didnt i ? (smug laugh)
What else did you dream about it?
Maybe we could have a little section dedicated to 'dreams we have had about the forum'. A collecting house of mirror experiences .
I always loved reading about the Witches house in 'the books'. A place that existed on both sides. It would be fun to mix the two sides of the forum up in the same way.
Dreaming it and living it from both sides.

generally the site is a good medium to connect to other dreaming members. I had a few dreams with the site and am not that long here. Once at least I talked with another member thanks to it (where both of us remembered that it happened and also what about) and at another time I was just looking at it and having thoughts and feelings about how I perceive it. The site exists on both sides for sure.. if all it takes is for more people to dream they are communicating thought it or just looking at it. But then a lot of other places are on both sides..

I think everything has its 'otherside', but like with people it has to be rounded up and exercised for it to become usable.
Ok call me wayout but this forum is potentially a sorceric entity of huge strange awareness. We are just a cycle involved in its conception right now. Assume that the forum remains in some sort of continuous format. Technology will develop the forums capabilities will grow more and more predictive. Before long it will actually develop and demonstrate its own artifical intelligence. It will start to look for people to bring here as its function on the 'otherside'. It will become a power object in and of itself. Its a curious line of thinking to follow. Yet inadvertantly by our hanging out here that is what is possible. If enough people focuss their second attention through this medium what will this place be?
Apparantly it has already had various incarnations and still continues to exisit. Just like cells dividing after conception. Merely thinking of the forum like this could create some interesting experiences. Potentially this is our collective sorcerers house. It has its front and as people grow ,an existance on the other side too.
Id love to know what people think.

Indeed, I was being, as you say, "snippy", something I tend to do when I suspect a bullshit artist has arrived. You've now had several other responses, most of them quite positive, so you may ignore mine.
To answer your question, I'm not a very able dreamer, having achieved lucidity a few times without achieving much except enjoying flying and the experience itself. I prefer either shamanic journeying or a drumming session to obtain information, or in this case, a potential name for the forum, which I won't bother with, since the name is really irrelevant.
