Well, I gave my first performance for Mother Nature using the Starcaster
Eh, it's okay. The new pickguard with the AWESOME new pickups is already on the way to me
As it stands, it sounds kind of 'ify'
it can't hold a proverbial candle to my Les Paul
Hey, my dick is more than big enough
IT'S THE GUITAR'S FAULT!!!

Whoah! The price has gone up since I just recently ordered it!
I take that as a good sign about the quality of the guitar

Maybe I just really need to have a private
man-to-man talk with my dick

The only way I know of to verify that the universe is self-aware is to develop the ability to stop one's internal dialogue AT WILL. Once you can stop your internal description of the world and hold that silence long enough you stand a chance of experiencing the self-awareness of the Universe.
So, YOU have to make the effort to silence your preconceptions of what is or is not logical, or reasonable, or real. You must stop the world of your ingrained prejudices and biases that give your ego its sense of reality. Either make the sincere effort and PROVE to the universe that you really want to know whether or not the universe is self-aware or you will never know empirically.
THERE ARE NO FREE RIDES WITH THE SPIRIT!
If you expect the universe to give you some great revelation without making any effort beside arrogant demands it's most probably not going to happen. Unless you get the sign of atheist Christopher Hitchens which is...DEATH!!!

I went through the first few pages of reviews trying to find ANYONE
who had something bad to say about the pickups
http://www.monoprice.com/Product/?pg_no ... 4#feedback
NO ONE HAD ANYTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT THE PICKUPS!!
A guitar should be one that can play all different styles well
A guitar beefed up with pickup for Heavy Metal
will probably suck as a jazz guitar
Seems I'm going to be pleased with my purchase
Oh, I just got notification that my order for the black Starcaster
has been cancelled, as I wanted it to be!
Sure am glad the guy didn't ship it right away!

I've decided that I'm going to use the extra set of locking tuners, roller nut and string trees
for my created StratoPaul guitar. It could use an upgrading
I want to be able to do Jimi Hendrix dive bombing with the whammy bar
without throwing the guitar out of tune on both guitars

Well, I gave another performance for Mother Nature yesterday and let me tell you
MY LES PAUL IS AWESOME!!!!!!
I'm rather excited about transforming the Starcaster into a guitar
worth thousands of dollars in sound!!
It's much easier to do such an upgrade with a Stratocaster than with a Les Paul
because all the wiring for the Strat is on the faceplate
Not so with the Les Paul so I'm glad I don't feel I need to change the pickups
I read that substandard wiring, switches and volume and tone control pots
can severely affect the sound of the guitar!!

IT HAS ARRIVED!!!
So far it sounds really good
not as good as my other Les Paul, at least not yet
I'm going to change the strings to the next gauge up
and make some adjustments for I feel the action is too low
and I'm getting some fret buzz
I like the action of the strings to be somewhat higher than most would like
I get clearer more distinct tones that way plus
it's much better for playing slide guitar
I like these strings because they sound great and last longer

MY EMAIL TO THE MONOPRICE COMPANY:
The gold top route 66 arrived and, for the price, my God this guitar is amazing!!!!!!
I was initially going to order the gold top route 66 directly from you guys, but you were out of stock
so I ordered from Amazon. The guitar just got here. You guys really need to do a better job
of packing your guitars. The box was opened on one edge and I could see inside it.
There was hardly any inner stuffing protecting the guitar. I'm truly surprised nothing was broken!!
I guess Fex Ex is responsible for the fact that nothing was broken when the guitar got here.
I like playing using the "Woman Tone" made famous by Eric Clapton.
I've changed the strings and heightened the action. However, I'm getting a strange sound on certain notes
The most pronounced is the 12th fret B (second string) note and two frets lower A note on the same string.
The same strange scratchy overtone can be heard on the 7th fret B note on the 1st E string.
So, it's not a fret problem. It apparently has to do with those particular notes when the
tone controls are in the 0 position. I'm hoping that strange scratchy overtone
will go away as I break the guitar in.
Any comments on your part about this matter will be helpful
Besides that, I really picked a winner with you guys! Thanks!!

It's interesting to see Jimmy Page, with shorter hair,
talking about his Les Pauls like he's just some ordinary guy
who owns Les Pauls
Just some average bloke off the block

Let me tell you something about Gibson Les Pauls
THEY ARE HEAVY GUITARS!!!!
The difference in weight compared to a Fender Stratocaster
IS QUITE DRAMATIC!!!
My Epiphone Les Paul weighs about as much as my Stratocaster
HOWEVER...
This Monoprice Les Paul weighs like a Gibson Les Paul
Every time I pick it up my instinctive reaction is, "HOLY **** THIS IS HEAVY!"
Just thought I would pass this along to any guitarists out there
who want to get a Monoprice Les Paul BEFORE they jack up the price!!

Damn, I hate Robert Plant's girly man singing
I suddenly realized that is the biggest turn off people have to Led Zeppelin
As a singer, I prefer Roger Daltrey of the Who
Oh my sweet incontinent Esmerelda, IT'S ANOTHER BLOODY LES PAUL GUITAR!!

I dunno, man! I'm really freaked out!
This guitar is so playable it's almost playing itself!!!
I am much too close to buying a black one for comfort
The company is out of stock of black ones till October
There is no guarantee the price will be the same by then

Wow! I know I may seem a bit too freaked out for your liking,
but your Gold Top Route 66 guitar is too amazing for words!!!
It outdoes my Epiphone Les Paul (photo I took included)
I originally just owned a Fender Stratocaster guitar that I had reworked three separate times
until I FINALLY created the missing link between a Stratocaster and a Les Paul, but...
it was never Les Paul enough for my liking
I had this memory from my youth of getting a chance to play an official Gibson Les Paul.
The memory was that compared to the Stratocaster the Les Paul practically played itself.
It was because of that incident that I did my best to transform my Stratocaster into a Les Paul
I really like my Epiphone Les Paul, but I NEVER had that feeling I once had
of the guitar practically playing itself. Never again have I had that feeling...UNTIL NOW!!!
I really understand how the heavy weight of a Les Paul makes bending strings so easy
it's like every time I bend a string the guitar is saying, "Isn't this fun?" Heck, it sure is fun!!!!
Well, I don't know what more to say except KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!
You really struck proverbial paydirt with your Route 66 Les Paul!
I'm so close to buying a black one on Amazon that a few hours ago
I was one-click away from fully ordering it
When the guy reviewing the Route 66 picked up a black one he ordered at the end of the video
I was enthralled! It was so beautiful. I only saw it for a moment, but...it really grabbed me
I dunno. I shouldn't be spending the money, but...I can't help feeling...well....
