that's alright. I realize it is religion and I no longer follow it either. But when I started shifting my awareness and learning sorcery I was first closely christian. and so I perceived reality in that way mixed with sorcery awareness as well. It describes for me the merging of my will with the command of the Eagle. And the ability to stalk different positions of awareness in yourself and others, by shifting awareness of them. From stalking the position of Satan I had managed to capture hell and eventually turned myself into the role of Satan within my reality, and had all the extremes of this position, being able to summon and command demons on to torture an evil enemy, then listening and watching as their reality becomes a hell for them. Filling myself with greed, lust, and hate to the point of taking great pleasure in dragging a cat through its worst fears. The worst horrors imaginable at my command. a stalker takes on the position he is stalking and the world forms around him.

the thing about intent is that it is aware of you and all things in totality. It is omnipresent, and omnipotent and it is alive. now sorcerer's may want to call it the Nagual, being the essence of the unknown awareness that surrounds them, but I find this division in awareness between the two descriptions, tonal and nagual, can create an unneeded separation where non exists, for the omnipresent awareness is still with you. Just because it presents itself as both nagual awareness and tonal awareness does not change the continuity of being aware at all times that is present in them both. Since nagual is used to describe only unknown awareness I find only the names God, Spirit, or Ally to fit the true essence that I speak of, being the totality of all known and unknown awareness, where nothing is nagual but Himself.
