Love's illusion
I sat on high, above the earth, in the night sky.
We were weaving and dreaming, giving birth from the mind.
She came to me, as if she were wrought purely from my fantasy.
For I had said that woman is made of man's dreams.
I didn't really think that I was being extreme, and so I let my mind wander.
As I watched her dance to my beats, my heart grew ever fonder.
Sure enough it wasn't long before she was the hottest, a treat, and yes as a Goddess.
I poured into her my love and all my power, and she stood there on my black diamond tower.
As a dream come true.
Like a fool I had given her my entire rule, and allowed her to dream my dream.
Then a snake popped up from the ground and said in its hissing sound, "that girl is not what she seems."
And like a tool I wondered, and the sky thundered, and in my eyes my love sundered.
For at that moment of my doubt loves waters had turned into drought.
For I did not know if love was real, and I let that snake steal.
My love and life away from me.

I think love comes in every shade and colour, intensity.. Like creation it has become everything and I think creation comes from love.. like babies being born from the act of love..

With a woman what turns me on is love. Sure I have some physical attraction, or lust, but love really is what turns me on.. Appreciation, kindness, care, compliments, consideration all qualities that I love. Much more important then lust for me..

I like to say we are perfectly imperfect and yet perfection is not out of reach to witness and experience. We all have our moments to shine..
That special feeling.. makes me wonder.. it lights up everything (like lightning) and rumbles my heart like thunder.. and yet when it crashes and away goes the flashes, my heart does sunder.. it makes me ponder is it all worth it, and then comes that girl and I think "perfect" and I am lost.. glorious, but lost..

a fire can catch aflame very quickly and ignite things inside of you that you didn't know were there.. that is quite lovely. my heart did that recently, then was broken, but alas the kindling of that fire was worth the loss of it.. something i learned new about love is that it comes in so many ways, shapes and sizes that really we know next to nothing about it.
