Some varieties of plants can be used to heighten awareness and expand perception. They aid in removing the fixation to normal reality and entering into altered states. I wanted to start a thread to describe some of these plants and their states.
The first plant I will mention is named Salvia divinorum which literally translates to sage of the seers, commoning known as Diviner`s sage. The Mazatec shamans primarily take it ceremonially as a tool for gaining access to the supernatural world or what they believe to be the realm of divine beings and supernatural entities. It is reported to induce states of divination and visionary states of perception.
I purchased a small amount of 10x salvia extract, which is basically extracted to the potency of 10 times normal. I placed it in my pipe and took a blast. I held in the smoke for a few seconds and was forced out of my body. My awareness filled everything in the room, and the surrounding area. I experienced being physical objects like the carpet and the toilet paper roll in the bathroom all simultaneously. This experience proved to me that awareness can exist outside of the physical body.
