The Double of You.

This addresses Artnwere's question about the double's agenda:
About the double and my perception of it:
The double is created through dreaming, given birth if you will. This double is aware of you but your not always aware of it..(the oversoul some have called it). The warrior seeks through nagualism to join his awake self with his dreaming self..(fire from within). The awake self is the first attention. The asleep self is the second attention, the combined awarenesses is the third attention which is having the awareness of both your attentions at the same time.
Your double has a separate attention then you see with yours.
It sees when spirits, allies, that are invisible to your naked eye approach you and it is aware of them even though you, in your animal state are not normally.
I, was taught that the double is created and that most people have one.
A double can travel around the world in a blink of the eye.
It can affect outcomes and the environment. It takes over once you leave your body. It is you.
A nagual seeks to have both awarenesses. This is very hard.
A double has its own agenda when it comes from a nagual.
A nagual being has four separate awarenesses( two tonals and two naguals).
The agenda depends on the individual. What they are like.
A evil man can definately have a evil double and a good man can have a good double. Doubles reflect on how and who created them. A double created from madness is bent that way. A double created by the child can be childlike in nature.
So you see it is just more of you. What you are like, what you believe, what you feel is reflected into the universe by ALL you are. Your thoughts, your mind, your soul, your spirit, and your double.

A true statement. We need both our attentions active and awake to purposefully enter into dealings with Spirit .... and we need The Third Attention to purposefully enter into "Infinity".
However, "dreaming practices" are not the only avenue to do this.
I do my best "dreaming" whilst I am in an awake-state, by AP shifts. And by AP shifts, I don't mean "the human range" from animal/bestial to saint-like filled with love. Shifts like that are for somebody, who hasn't as yet integrated their Spirit/Animal sides.
By "shifts" I mean entering into "trance-like" states ... which enables me to either see a vision of something (in the future or in the past or a vision like "distance-viewing" ... or vision as "Spirit Message" ) .... or to receive a "telepathic message" .... or talk to the Dead ....ooooor "see" Energies .....etc. etc. etc.
Perceiving Reality Multidimensionally.
To ask what "agenda" the double has .... is like asking: "What is your Intent" ? or "Who or What is your Master ?"
Most people's awareness is trapped in the "Dual Mind", therefore the only "Dreaming" they are able to do is "First Attention" (for it also is "Dreaming" people just don't realize this). Therefore their "Master" is ... "The-Mirror-of-Self-Reflection" i.e. The Dual Mind. And since the mind only has one "agenda" of forever maintaining and fortifying itself .... a person who's awareness is trapped by the mind does not have a Free-and-Independent-Will.
Only after ... freeing our Will (by stalking and recapitulating).... are we truly free to choose energetically the "Dreaming Reality" we wish to have. And then we consciously attach our dreaming doubles to whatever we want to attach it to, this then becoming the "agenda" of our doubles.
If we attach our Dreaming Double to Spirit with Intent .... "Spirit Dreaming" is The Reality, we start to perceive as unfolding .... Spirit then becoming the "Master" for and "Agenda" of our Doubles.

In other terms, after Freeing our Will (as in Awareness Energy) .... are we Free to consciously and responsibly choose our "Entrapments".

"Dreaming Practices" are no doubt an avenue of creating an active and an aware & powerful double .... but so is the practice of "Impeccability-in-The-Eyes-of-Spirit".
But who says all of these things cannot be done simultaneously ....!
Depending on our "energetic configuration" ... I guess .... determines what we personally feel is best way for us to go about it.

i'm convinced my double is a psychopath.
he just said "hello" to me tonight.
earlier today i did some gazing in a mirror. i stared blankly thinking "double double double" (probably not an impeccable practice mind you).
anyway, i can't sleep worth a damn 'cause i took some vitamin b6 (supposed to help with lucidity). i was just laying there and the vitamin must have some nearly hallucinogenic properties. I was hearing music, at first it was random notes on out of this world synth pads and stuff. it slowly formulated into songs. i noticed they used the scales of our world but it had "out of this world properties".
then i heard guitar music. it was FAST and suddenly i was dreaming. but it wasn't dreaming more like i was seeing. notice how your doubles perception just takes over what you see and how unable to think you are. it was like that! i saw my self sitting in font of a mirror playing my guitar. but the EYES they had this blank expression. his face was illuminated.
i've seen this before in dreaming. I or my double. will be in front of a mirror with an illuminated face but they eyes are blank but full of life. (you know the expression Elija Woods character from Sin City, his face has that expression). it scares the hell outta me sometimes!
i think the mirror thing is just his way of saying "i'm here!". i must say he's a damn better guitarist than I. I wonder if i can use my dreaming double for writing music? Castaneda wrote books from dreaming why not I?

anyway how come every time when i gaze into a mirror - i dream of standing in a mirror. I've read how a lot of people go to a mirror in dreams but they never look like themselves?
Did i Intend my dreambody to look like me, and even wear my favorite shirt? If that's true could i use mirror gazing to intend other appearances in dreams? I always wanted to see what my feminine side looks like. (nothing @#%$ here just curious).

Not necessarily. i'm a part of a lucid dream site where some poeple change their image in dreams all the time.
all you would have to do to go back is do what the tenant suggests: fall asleep one side - in your dream change back and then dream you fall asleep on the same side. that will fixate your AP back.

The mirror reflects but what it reflects is a reflection and not reality. Amazing properties they can have is sometimes they reflect something you do not normally see if it was before you.
Standing In a mirror is an awesome trick.
