People in dreams.
#1
People in dreams. People meaning seeing human forms  in dreaming. The ones you meet are either real people, disguised inorganics, people who have died or passed on to other worlds/realities or they are projections. Projected people have no assemblage points and are created as forms that inhabit a dream. Real people are other dreamers who are dreaming. Inorganics like to take our shapes so we do not know what they are and also to interact with us without waking us up by their alien form. To truly see a inorganic in its true form is indeed a remembered experience.

Because we intend and expect to find each other in dreaming we are also very likely to create projections of the person we want to meet.

It could be part of our task to learn how to distinguish who it is we are dealing with.

Some useful techniques:

asking questions, looking at energy. Pointing finger and intending to, either see energy, or make the person (object) disappear;

usually a real being would not disappear; that being said, they may go away if they think we are chasing them away:

it depends on our clear our intent is and on the emotion we project.

I suspect from my encounters that even dead people can be projections, and that some of the really dead people do not know they are dead and finally, that projections are not always created by ourselves.

In my dream thread of 15 Sept 'Clearing dream asking questions' there is an example of asking questions to dream characters and using intent to see who is who in a dream. This can be practiced during the day otherwise it is unlikely we have detachment in the dream to investigate in the dream while interacting with the dream character. Edit: When I specifically called for inorganics to pop up, they don't show up as human dream characters but as yellow sticks similar to what Castaneda describes I also have seen purple/greenish octopus or being with tentacles

I have had the weirdest conversations with some of the characters in my dreams after finding out they were phantom projections. Not that it is useful, but I wanted to see how independently they behave or answer questions. Maybe they are a little like characters from a computer program or in a video game. One night, as I wanted to make them disappear, one of them said:

"please keep me a little more, don't make me disappear"...I asked: "who created you" and he said: "you did".

On another instance, I kept the person with me for a little while, I figured that our attachment was a reflection of my own need to find other dreamers...but I was surprised to see I was not transferring this emotion and reaction in real time into the dream character, they could really act and react on their own, at least for a while, like a sophisticated echo.

Interesting thread!

fabs.nagual have your phantom projections ever tried to fool you into thinking there were ever real? What did you projection look like around the edges? Did it have an aura? Did you compare how it looked to yourself? Very interesting thanks for sharing!

With my lucid dreams and experiences with both WILD and DILD. I got to the point where I observe everything without moving in the dream at first. I look up, down, side to side and behind me. What I learned and the colors I observed helped and being real still observing fine details I was able to distinguish who is real in a dream and who it not. The reason I know they were real was that I met the person later in my waking life and it was verified through their drawings the things they saw in the dream and compared them to my drawings. In addition to seeing their face that they were the person I saw. If you look at a real person in a dream the edges of their body (essence) and if you are real still and focus on detail you will see a shimmer of color or movement of surroundings around them. This constant changing aura if you want to call it that changes with their intent. If someone knows they are dreaming and approach you and they are willing to interact it is easier to see. If they have no clue you are there it is a lot smaller and harder to see. A great practice for me always is looking at my hands and how the edges appear to the surroundings and viewing myself in front of mirrors in a dream. There is always a white to yellow almost gold tone there. It changes in size with my intent and emotions.

excellent, it seems you have found your own ways of navigating, the aura is good way to check for energy. To answer you question, no, projections do not try to fool me on purpose, only real foreign energy does that.

One use of phantom projections:
Projections are not all that bad in the sense that they bring up what is on our mind and give us a chance to act on them, eventually try new behaviors and responses before we get to use them in real life or within with real energetic dreams.
Even when we are not aware, if our intent to change, be impeccable is strong, we will respond in a way that is beneficial to our evolution so these dreams are also a platform for evolution and testing responses in a safe environment.
Of course lack of awareness together with no real intent of change could just repeat the situations and accentuate our stresses and problems.

Good thinking on phantom projections fabs. You are right on the intent. Sometimes I will fool myself in my waking life on my intent and then in the dream world realize I haven't resolved some issue and phantom projections occur. They occur when I really want to meet someone in a dream or do some specific task in a dream. I realize my intent was not as deep as I could of had it. I find out guilt, or self consciousness stops the intent I thought I had. So weird how emotions do govern our own dream worlds.

Last night I intended to find family members who have passed away since I had dreamt with my grandad the previous night. I found my grandmother and did a test pointing my finger at her with intent to see if she was a projection and asking are you a projection?. She was not and remained there. Only her looks changed (she had more and longer hair) but it was a real being and not an inorganic either. I have no doubt anyway that we had really met many times but I was glad that this time, I did not just assume and tested, which I have started doing systematically for about a week now.

That is wonderful fabs that you verified it. Looks like you have a lot of lucidity and control. :-) I'd really like to meet you in a dream and see how you appear and have you tell me how I appear in terms of energy. When you have met someone that has passed away in a dream and verified it. How do you feel the day after you wake up? I feel almost in the day to be stuck between awake and dreaming. It's hard for me to shake it off in the day and feel alert. It's like if I relax just a little bit I dream awake.
