At first, I thought by fighting them that I was winning. Then I realized it is like a dog. If you run, it will chase you faster. If it bites you and you pull away, it will bite harder. Ow.

Didn't the Ancients tell stories about (and even go so far as to build huge monuments and paint intricate works of art depicting) how a bunch of alien beings came and gave us strange knowledge? That's what they painted on the walls of the pyramids (on more than one continent). Heck, even the Jews, Christians, and Muslims would agree in the case of the serpent!

Turin Otzaki wrote:I find the whole topic of the FI facinating. I dont know if it is really an entity outside ourselves or not, but in a way the answer to that doesnt really matter-cos the fact is that it ACTS like a foreign entity, and it is from one perspective our enemy to be fought every breath of every day.... So from that perspective the FI isnt a 'mistake' or some evil thing that crept into our sector of the universe but is actually part of the design! And our struggle with it, to rise above it or however you want to put it, is how we actually build our spiritual muscle. ... So yes, the FI is our enemy, and yet from a larger perspective, it is our friend - in dealing with it we get to develop ourselves. The Foreign Installation is to Humans what Farmers are to Sheep.
Which means our struggle is to somehow escape the farm and figure out how to live alone in the woods before Farmer John turns us into mutton burgers.
And it doesn't matter if the Foreign Installation is some beyond-belief inorganic beings, or our own stupidity, because that is part of the wonderful mystery of it all.. I just know it's incredibly difficult, but not impossible, to live alone out in the woods. And it's a lot more of an adventure than riding the bus to work.
