The Eagle Vision. Have you dreamed of the Eagle?

I wrote of this event a few years ago here but I want to bring it up again in a new post. The old seers were able to see the eagle and had the eagle vision as was explained in the Castaneda book: The Eagles Gift. I would like to ask if any of you have had this vision/dream?

A few years ago I had the vision in a dream. I rose from my body and went high above the earth. I saw the beings who were leaving the earth go to this power which was all black and shadowlike. It actually does look like an eagle. Monstrous black, the eagle rose high and was surrounding the earth. The "souls" of the dead flew to its beak (actually looks like a beak, smooth, pointed with an opening). I saw only one bright shining eye above the beak. I was aware this force was aware of me. It was like a mother and a predator. I remember viewing there was "something" behind it. An "other side". I didn't see wings or anything else resembling a eagle but that "beak" and "eye" fitted the description of an eagle and I could why the old seers called it an eagle. I only had the vision once but as a child I had a revelation watching bugs flying to a streetlight and remember having silent knowledge tell me this was like death.


The New Seers need to know this is important knowledge as it first reveals when living beings die they go to this power. Second is this power wants their awareness. Third is there IS something past the power we can go to (darting past the eagle).

I did not see an eagle but what you describe does sound like an experience I have had and have only told one other person about it. I figured whomever I told would just see it as a typical NDE.



I was around 12. I drempt I saw a black hole and there was fire or what appeared as light of some kind. The hole was pulling me towards it, like being sucked in a vacuum. I was afraid. I fought against this pull with all my might, it was excruciating. I do not recall seeing an eagle eye or anything like that, but this was before I read CC, and also in my memory I don't see the vision exactly anymore. I just remember it was a black immense force swirling, pulling me towards it, there was a noise involved with it too...a strong auditory hum. After I had fought with it, I woke up in my bedroom. I was relieved I got out of it. But to my amazement, as soon as I closed my eyes, I was back again being sucked into it, like it could get me just like that. I fought again and this time when I came out I did not go back to sleep.



The person I told this to, he had read some book by some guy and somehow this fit the description of what he read and he told me I made a big mistake by not allowing myself to go through the black hole. I don't know though...that was just what he read. I did what I did because it felt like I was going to die otherwise. This guy told me I would have been transformed spiritually if I had allowed it to happen. Again, I have no idea.

Oh yes, and I was aware of an "other side" and I felt the people there were not happy...more reason I did not want to go. This also sort of fits the description of hell lol. Which may be another reason I haven't told people about it, lest they think I was going to hell. I was a good kid, I swear.

I "dreamt" the eagle a few years back, though it was more dreaming-awake than dreaming-asleep.  What I *saw* at first was something I could not fathom - very shiny/golden, almost like sunlight, yet not quite as bright.  As I pulled back in my visionary state to get a better look at what I was *seeing*, I realized it was the eye of something very huge - the eye of the eagle, as it turned out.  My vision had started with me staring into its eye at extremely close range, and upon getting a better perspective, I *saw* essentially what you described.  A huge black shape that resembled an eagle, much larger than the earth, but somehow "connected" to the earth, at least at the time I was observing it.  In my vision, its wings were partially folded, partially extended, and it appeared to be focused on its prey just as an actual eagle becomes fixated just prior to attack.
The only color to it was the eye, otherwise, all black and like a shadow incarnate.

The black hole Tiff...maybe you should have followed the pull of it..hard to answer. Alien, sounds like the eagle vision to me!

I've had a dream/vision/experience with the eagle.   It lasted a few nights, maybe 5 or 6, came back every night just before I fell asleep.  Was a very intense experience.  Funny when I asked people *that I knew then* about it, the responses I got were that it couldnt have been the eagle, who only comes at death.  That didnt feel right to me.  I'm very happy to be reading here, even though I already know what my experience was, it's nice to get agreements.
Its difficult really to speak of the experience, because it happened in such an other dimension. When I try to explain the words really get in the way.    But I drew a picture.

I had trouble understanding this Eagle thing. But even tho you talk about it with more precision, its still very mysterious. Is the eagle some kind of gigantic IOB? Like one of those animals that eat ants, just standing over an ant hill...

I believe its part of the vision. Once I am outside my body I feel I would see the true nature of the eagle. The Eagle vision is one of a powerful enormous eninty that overpowers our world and rules it. This force I see as "god" or our ultimate judge and devourer.
