While reading your story Nagual LoneWolf, my dreaming animal, Panther appeared before my vision and reminded me of an experience.
Panther and I were travelling together one starry night and she pointed out to me a house that we should go to, when I peered into the window I saw a woman who posts in another group I am also in, I knew her by the energy configuration. It occured to me that she was on the verge of madness.
The next day I wrote an e mail in the group asking her to dream with Panther and I, that we could meet by a mountain stream and have a swim together.
So Panther and I arrived as agreed, but B did not come, so we took a swim and I said let's go Panther, but she refused, and let me know by the look in her eyes that she was not budging from there till B came.
So sadly I took off to attend to my daily life. The days passed into months and no matter how I tried to meet up with Panter she would not return and dream travel with me.
One day about three months later, B was behaving weird, to say the least, and again I told her that Panther was still at the mountain stream waiting for her. B decided she would meet me then in dreaming, and together we arrived at the stream. I was so happy to be with Panther again, but B was terrified and left immediately. It was only then that Panther decided to leave with me, three months later.
Well, a few more days passed and then B totally lost it, I mean went off into some dark place that she has not returned from to date. Panther tried her best and would have healed her but B allowed her fears to grip her completely.

My best friend.

This image most closely resembles Panther.

I have many stories to tell of our journeying together and would like to tell them here.

Hello Su.
I was just talking about how I have not developed any dreaming skills and that any dreaming I have done has occurred naturally....and that I think it is time that I pay some attention to it.
Then I come here and I read about your dream Panther.
Some years ago, I had a very memorable dream with 3 panthers that looked very similar to the picture that you posted.
Would you be interested in giving me some tips on how to get started dreaming as a beginner?

Hi there Kit,
Short message for now, lot's of thunder and lightening so will turn off the computer shortly but tomorrow I will add to it.
Tips:
Put a book at the side of your bed,, a dream journal and before you fall asleep at night suggest to yourself that you will wake up and record your dreams during the night.
Most times by the time morning comes we remember hardly anything of the dreams we had. After a while it will happen automatically. Don't be too concerned that nothing is happening, just keep suggesting that you will wake up and record your dreams.
You can do the same thing about waking up in the mornings,, suggest to yourself that you'll wake up at 7.00 am on the dot and see what happens. Eventually you will have no need for an alarm clock. Same goes with the telephone, see if you can hear it ring before it actually rings.
Geeeeedd, I gotta close down this computer Kit. Talk tomorrow and .....
Sweet Dreams,
Su

Hi Kit,
One night I dreamed that I woke up and dressed for work, grabbed the car keys and was about to run down the steps. There was a large window in the front of my house so I glanced out before closing the door. What I saw stopped me in my tracks. In the neighbors garage there were three huge animals, one was the biggest panther I'd ever seen, a just as big alligator and a snake...they were all looking at me intensely. Shhh I thought no way am I going downstairs, those animals were about to have me for breakfast. So I went back inside and sat in the living room wondering if I'd have to stay prisoner in there for the rest of my life. After what seemed like hours the thought occured that no way was I living like a prisoner anymore. Soooo armed with umbrella, lol I picked up the nerve to face these ferocious beasts,, do or die..
I ran downstairs boldly and walked straight up to the neighbors yard, opened the gate ready to die and the strangest thing happened. They all shrunk into babies, tiny cute lil babies, then the alligator and the snake vanished. Panther remained and she grew again in front of my eyes as big as an elephant,,, I looked her straight in her eyes and fell completely in love with her, no fear. She walked up to me and started pushing me over to my house, up the steps and found a place in the living room to lie down... We stayed there looking at each other for eons, she has green eyes just like mine. Then suddenly we were flying through the air over the great land masses that were not of the earth. Panther communicated with me silently that we would be together from then on.
Then I woke up. We have met in the dreaming world ever since and it is always just as lucid as the first time.
I am sure that if I had not been practicing those exercises mentioned to you above, there is no way my dreams would have become lucid.
Can you remember that dream you spoke of Kit?
Hugs, Su

How is everything in Florida? Are you safe from the wild weather out that way? Good thoughts for you and yours.
I do remember that dream. It's a little vague now, but still there.
I think that I had been riding a bike and had stopped and was looking up at a street sign.
I had been looking for my home and the sign was displaying the name of my street, but it was not it.
The neighbourhood that I was in looked very similar to the area where I went to that Shamanic school.
I remember feeling confused. I started to walk up the street to look around and suddenly 3 black panthers came towards me.
I was scared.
I had been carrying an umbrella and my automatic reaction in the dream was to start twirling it like a baton.
The panthers circled around me, but could not get near me as I twirled the baton very very fast and also twirled my body around at the same time, quickly covering the 360 degrees.
I was woken up at that point and did not get to finish the dream.
I used to dream alot....and I did record many of my dreams. Unfortunately, all of my journals have been packed up and put in storage while my house is being rebuilt.....lol....nothing has been started yet.
I don't often recall my dreams anymore. I've heard a number of different theories about that. What do you think?
Look forward to more Lily.

Hello Lilly and Kit.
I recently had hand surgery on my right hand and have been away from the internet. Soon I'll catch up but would like to express my wonderment on your panther story(s) and please feel invited to make more posts here in Wolflands.
Glad to see that there are others who dream animals come to.

Welcome back Nagual LoneWolf,
I was wondering where you had gotten to. Hope the surgery was not serious,, was it carpal tunnel?
Yeah, your story inspired me to tell mine. Then Kitty Cat, true to her name, got all inspired too.
And that was a life changing, lucid dream you had there Kit. Why did your dreaming stop so abruptly. Do you know?

That storm was so close to us. What a terrible thing that has happened in New Orleans eh. I was looking at the videos but stopped for a while, heartbreaking.

I'd asked why your dreaming stopped so suddenly Kit, do you know? was it after the dream you mentioned?

Yeah, I had about 20 journals and nowhere to put them when leaving Trinidad, so burned them in a ceremony,, that was weird.
It did not stop me dreaming though that has gotten better and better especially after meeting Panther.

I think the key lies in the dream you mentioned of the three Panthers. If I were you I'd revisit that dream, for sure.
And don't forget the exercises I suggested, it will open back up the dreaming world.

How LilPanther Saved the day again.
Pt1
Once I did a Shamanism course on line with a guy I will call Jay.
I made it very clear that my interest was superficial and in view of managing a Shamanism group on line and wanted to have some idea about it.
He said ok that I could join the group. Well it was very interesting and I floated in and out asking this and that question. I also did some exercises that he gave like finding certain rocks and feeling their essence and history. That was very very interesting and my rock 'Ugly' and 'Crystal' came to me then. But that is a story for another time.
One day Jay sent a dreaming exercise for us to do with instructions to take the week to mull it over and we could write in the group our experiences.
WELL! I had not even finished reading the letter when I had this overwhelming feeling to sleep. Could not even get on the bed fast enough......
******************
Note: Falling asleep on myself, will continue this tomorrow.
Nite

Hello Lone Wolf. Isn't it cool that you have been presented with an opportunity to develop a new part of yourself. Enjoy the experience!
Hi Lil. I don't think that was the last dream before my dreaming seemed to stop....but I can't be sure. When I get my stuff back, when the house has been completed (and started...lol), I will look through all of my dream journals to see.
I asked my teacher about this. She told me she thought that it was because I had brought my dreaming into this world....that they had become one and the same.
What I think presently is that my dreaming ability was too advanced for me to deal with. I think that I had a lot of work to do with myself out here in the world first.
This is not a claim of being a great advanced dreamer. It is a reflection of my own limited capabilities.
I've had so many questions and still do, but have learned much since that time.
I would like to explore the dream world again and talking about some of my past dreams and reading about others' may inspire and stimulate.
I have been having snippets of recall this last week....but generally not upon waking....it will be later in the day....and something comes to me in a flash...and I have to explore to find...oh yeah....that was a dream....that wasn't in real life...because in fact, it seemed like a real memory, rather than a dream one.
I met a new friend recently. He is an artist. A painter, but also totally nuts over creating digital art.
I talked with him about my dream with the panthers. He told me that he could create the image for me....very cool...I would never have thought to do it.
He said also, that with a bit of effort, he can even animate it.
If he decides to do this one day, I will bring it here to share with you.
Happy Sunday!

Hello Kit
Actually I am using this to be aware of my left hand and arm.
While teaching my hand to write I see it actually writes better than my lazy right...

Nite Kit,
I still have to finish telling of the dream I had, but somehow got into other things It is very late now so will try to do so tomorow.
The weather is very bad here, strong winds blowing. It looks like a tropical storm is brewing again and it's on top of us at the moment.
A few weeks ago I went to the beach and had to get out of the water because the water was soooooo hot,, gezzz I said to myself, storms would love this.. hm..

Hello NLW and LilyMist
Isn't that something that you write better with your left hand? How is your right hand doing?
Who wrote the saying at the top of the Separate Reality forum? Was that you Lone Wolf?
How are things weather wise down your way Lily? Look forward to reading more about your dream.
