Law Keeping Buddha

They are as numerous as Ganges sands

And each, in his own world, extends his tongue

Until it universally expounds

Across the thousands of great thousand worlds

The truth which is contained in these words:

"All sentient beings should believe the words

This sutra here reveals, extolling and

Explaining all the virtues thought of and

Protected by the Buddhas everywhere."

"They all attain, not retrogressing, to

Complete and perfect Bodhi. It's because

Of this, o Shariputra, that you should

Believe, accept and honor what is preached

By many Buddhas in their many worlds.

If, Shariputra, there are people who

Aroused the wish, arouse the wish right now

Or shall arouse the wish to be reborn

In Highest Happiness, they are, in truth,

Reborn into that realm of Perfect Peace,

Or are reborn into Amida's World,

Or shall be soon reborn into that world.

Not retrogressing, they attain profound

Serene and unsurpassed enlightenment.

O Shariputra, therefore, all good men

Or women having faith shall thus arouse

The wish for birth in Buddha'a Highest World."

Couple of times here I got across a term power food, power nap and so on. And I do not have any idea what that may be. Were some people just joking or is that real? If someone could please explain this to me I would be thankful.

Objects can be ensouled with power. These can range from good luck charms to talismans purposely imbued with power in ceremonies.
It can also be objects found or prepeared in a peculiar way. It is much to do with intent. Do you concider it a power object? Then it is to an extent.
Does it have a purpose in your mind and was it prepared for that purpose? Spells can be used to create such objects and specific names associated with it or it can just be something you were led to for a reason while searching for power.
At the Field museum in Chicago there is a whole section of Kachina dolls and skulls of enemies slain in battle. These are thought to contain the spirits of the slain warriors who's skulls they were in life.
Do they really? It might depend upon the belief of the slain at the time they were killed as well as the slayer's beliefs at that time.
There are whole books written on making talismans. Spells and incantations and Names of spirit beings are associted with the objects thus made.

You could also.. eat dog ****.. safe in the knowledge that no-one in the normal assemblage position would do likewise.. and then leap to infinity through fluidising your assemblage point in contrast to those with too much resistance!
Power is found in rarity, and in the case of not doing -within rarity of action and freedom of choice within that rare moment of desicion!
DO NOT EAT DOG ****! (see im telling you what to do.. and in so doing stealing your power through resistance.
also when considering soul energy in objects.. consider this story!!!!
About 20 years ago i started to stucdy maritial arts.. I soon realised that if i could dominate everyone i would never challenge myself..
and so i quit martial arts as an act of battling impending sobriety over others.
about 3 months ago.. i went into a used second hand shop and SAW a bundle of 9 coloured grading belts for a martial art..
They exuded soul energy....
I didnt by them as i figured caution would be the best policy.
It was a couple of days before i realised that the belts did not contain the SOUL of the martial artist who had worn them.. But actually contained that portion of SOUL lost by every person who had backed down mid argument becasue they were arguing against a martial artist!
essentially.. the soul energy was made of 40 or so people who hadnt challenegd the owner of the belts.
CONSIDER the samurai armour and its power..
and THINK "how much is warrior energy" and "how much is the core of lost power left by his opponents."

Its all very well to worship power objects..
more often that not as power is a mystery .. they will mess you up if you look at them wrong!
I nearly eat a slug once when i was on acid... OOHHH big man!

I then wondered up to a field full of 500 other tripping people in the midday sun and faffed around like a jibbering ****.. To start with i had an energycoat of the deathdefier.. all red blobs on top of my cocoon..
I managed to roll a dieselgenerator around with some other tripping starngers.. and took the lid off! I tried to assemble a blue tarpaulin shelter to play music out of.. but the power was leaving my cocoon..
It wasa  great day out and the over runny cold egg sandwich i had to come down on was very tasty out the back of a dirty bus!
I dont think the POWER

drained through lack of application...
in reterospect it streamlined itself along the time axis for expenditureNOW later.. about 9years ago it was!"
NINE YEARS TO NOW on one page of text.. amazing thing the typey buttony writey machine!

in fact.. you wanna play "assemblage point theory"
LOOK at the codex nttal.
wherever you see a LOLIPOP sticking out of a person or object, house or spirit.. THAT is the assemblage position for it..
for instance

so.. having pluggged the mystery mayan artist from the picture above... showing the grasp an easterly nagual has on the forelock of a westerly nagual.
next is the OBJECT position.. for
spontaneous human combustion. A NEW)ISH) one!

and last a pyramid, kuel huh!

rosygyro,

eeewww Dog ****. I am thinking of alternatives lol. I read a message once to an apprentice to the Warriors path from a Nagal. The Nagal said for Pete sake stop focusing on tingling sensations in your hands and body or you are in serious danger of spontaneous combustion! A little practical application of the wrong idea can be dangerous I am thinking.

Quantum Shaman,

If you are still around at the mo I wear a grey and white camouflage style NY cap, sometimes forwards sometimes backwards, would be interesting to know if its the right kind of cap.. ; )

I'm not sure as to the details of the cap.  The man I left with was of slightly taller than average height (maybe 6'1" or so), and rather pale complexion.  His hair was short and he had intense eyes, and seemed to be mostly amused at everything.

not me. I am pale but am short, 5 7, I am mostly amused by everything though. I hope your keeping well Quantum Shaman. I am just watching your YouTube videos. longing.....

The last thing I did that got recorded was this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FT3PBKWlC1M

Thanks for the link.  My kind of music, very moody and soul-touching.  And a good strong bass line, too!
The guy I left with in the dream looked a LOT like that young fellow in the video.  *winks*  My dreaming body is taller than my physical self, so I'm not ruling out that it could have been you.  The gist of the dream seemed to be that two of us escaped, whereas the two who remained behind were almost certain to be killed by the she-bear.
As for me... I'm very well, thanks for asking.    All things considered, I'm downright peachy!
Take care...

I am becoming more and more intrigued about dreaming with other people since I have been visiting this site. It is funny that before I joined the site I did not know for sure how to but then suddenly knew. it was almost like a little connection that already existed just became re activated. I felt that NWL may have had something to do with the sudden change. I have before had some really good dreams where I have felt like a bit of an outsider (I think this may be normal for me) and spent time with what i know are real people. Many times in circles near woods round campfires and really do love those dreams. But in these dreams I can never see their faces and they all seem to be strangers. I tried for a little while to dream with the folks here but my imagination ran wild with schemes and possibilities. Might try again though....
