Battles
#1
to enter the Warriors path means to invite battles into once life
It is not always clearly to see what battle there is going on.
At times a battle can be started in another persons life.
How is that?
True an energetic bond between the two, still each of use must win the battle our self, with or without the help of friends and allies
This message is to the ones that started battles in me. I See this and how deep the roots goes.
When a battle is initiated in another warrior, it leaves a thread of connection.
A pulse is from a won or lost battle touches the other as inspiration or a slight downer. Pulse strenght depending on the investment in the battle. To be touch by this pulse is fine, but to be pulled by is not.
I believe this functions the same for all relations, but the attachment to expectations makes it much more dramatic and filled with selfimportance.

Hi MS....I am traveling by plane today but when I read your post I wanted to tell you that the only way to "win" any battle is through detachment. I did not have a chance to post. I then picked up the art of dreaming on the plane....and the first part I read was about detachment. Certainly an omen.

A winner never stays a winner and a loser never stays a loser. Detachment seems like the only way to see life clearly amidst this paradox.

Battles are yes everyday, a warrior knows that he must remain detached during battles. Being detached anchors the war within and braces him for what may come.

But if we face those battles with certain traits, of ruthlessness, cunning, sweetness, and patience, we could control our folly. In some lineages of Mexico, there are certain breathing exercises that could help you increase awareness in times of extreme stress or anxiety, that type that would come about due to a psychic attack, or a posed challenge of some sort. This ancient art of meditation is called teomania in nahuatl and its a way to offer ourselves to the magical, the divine, the nahualli, wherein we must practice amomati or internal silence in order to reach trance. Through these exercises, you could accumulate reserves of ecstasy, which will come in handy as extra energy from our three fields, the tonal, nagual, and unknowable third attention. I feel these breathing exercises stimulate the third attention in one, if done right. I try to practice them at least once a month, but in the coming weeks i'll be doing it weekly in order to stimulate certain energy centers in my body, also through the Middle Pillar Ritual and Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentegram in order to increase the potency of my aura and extract unwanted energies that I don't want around. Invoking Quetzalcoatl or Nahualpilli in a battle would ward off danger. But battles are many. There are many tools one could use to defend oneself from a challenger, not just energy work, but also in the area of material bases. I have a neat book in spanish called "El Guerrero de la Estrella. Nahualismo." It's about an initiate's journey through another lineage or abolengo, a bit more geared towards the Nahua peoples in general rather than the Toltecs. But it's an authentic tradition from which many a nagual could learn from. I myself have geared my self towards deepen my knowledge of spiritual cleansing, psychic self-defense, rituals for protection, and general unhexing/jinx removing work. I feel confident in this area, where my knowledge of material bases exceeds my knowledge of the Toltec path, but which I incoporate into my daily ritual work. I make a life of meeting challengers, through the power of my acts, which I always try to make acts of power, and through blending with power spots that are laden in the earth. But the biggest power is that of prayer, to the gods and spirits, and to the ancestors. We are not alone in our battles. Help is plentiful. Make a shield. There's a Mexican technique which is called the Custodia which is a force field I put into effect to provide psychic defenses. Also, grounding, shielding, warding, and banishing techniques. Also reading psalms, which has been used by Cabalists for centuries to return evil to its sender. Any of the many techniques of ecstasy from around the primitive world would also do.
Yours,
-Teopiltzin

You betray yourself by saying INVOKE QUETZACOATL... no warrior invokes anothers incarnational power!
cept unless he wishes to be left with the soul lessons of that being!
I find it hard to believe that any warrior would use formula magic!

One said, it doesn't hurt to have a few feathers in one's cap...or trunk...for those of us who still step on our ears once in a while
Sometimes "tried and true' helps see one through
