Today is a day of tremendous victory through the focusing of Intent
I am eternally grateful to don Juan for teaching me the value of focusing Intent towards an intended purpose For the first time in my life I have done 200 Roman Chair situps in sets of 25 each What's amazing is I feel I can do more!! I just may for the heck of it! Plus we have had a tremendous victory with hurricane Rina!! With our combined Intent we have weakened it and sent it away!!! Also, an outrageous victory with something I am not allowed to tell. I will say that everything else has been on the back-burner of my life as we were focusing our combined Intent on this particular manifestation Today we manifested what we were Intending!! So, don Juan was right in that with the proper focusing of Intent unfathomable things are indeed possible! Man oh man, have I ever been making outrageous Acai Berry smoothies with lots of other berries mixed in along with an apple banana and Minute Maid berry punch concentrate That concentrate really adds the (((ZING))) I've recently been fascinated by the Tonfa martial arts work of the character in the original Hellboy movie I'm getting ready to order a pair of Tonfa batons, but... I want to make certain I get the right size for my particular needs I feel I will have the freedom to do fancier stuff if I get the shorter ones I know for a fact that I will not be able to spin the longer ones in front of my body without hitting my chest Although, this part of an Amazon review reminded me why I don't like using weapons around the house and by using them at public parks I risk having the police called on me This is why I stay with Kung Fu fans, Escrima Sticks and Staff I don't know. This part of the Amazon review has me thinking twice about buying them: "...A word of caution! I was doing a spinning back strike and one flew out of my hand. It blasted through my plaster wall point first destroying it and the wood lathing behind."

Juan taught that warrior men of knowledge take strategic inventories of their lives in order to find out what activities and thoughts are weakening them and then they do their best to eliminate whatever weakens them from their lives. The road to true Universal Power for manifesting is paved with thoughts and activities that strengthen rather than weaken. If a warrior is serious about advancement he MUST do his best to ruthlessly eliminate those thoughts and activities that weaken him. Yes, I've gone back to my vomit of insulting people in these forums and, although it pains me to openly admit it, I am not proud of myself for forgetting that insulting people is not helping me in any way whatsoever. I may get the truth of how I feel out of my system, but such thoughts breed more desire to insult and that is an activity which is just no longer useful to me. I MUST cut back NOT ON THE INSULTS, but on the very DESIRE to insult (((ANYONE))). If I truly want to inspire the Creator to enrich my life I had better curtail my desire to insult the Creation, period. It's not enough to superficially stop insulting when I still feel the insults in me. That's why going to a forum where it is required I not insult people is just not good enough. As long as I am suppressing the insults those insults are still there and...well...they just are not serving me anymore. They are 'dead weight' I must PERMANENTLY drop from my life. It's an obvious improvement I can make and I openly write this in order to make it much more difficult for me to go back to insulting. The Dr Wayne Dyer way of substituting softer words for blatant insults seems to be the way to go. For example, where I would call someone a lying, hypocrite phony Dr Wayne Dyer would call the person: inauthentic. Let's see if I can come up with a list of my own substitute words beginning with Dr Wayne Dyer's choice Whenever I am tempted to call someone a lying, hypocrite phony = inauthentic Assshole = ejecting orifice Dickhead = ding-a-lingy Moron = mormon Loser = ineffective person Dumbasss = less than intelligent bottom feeder (boy, this is a long one!) Jerk = Yanker **** = Numby These are just examples that I intend to modify. I don't think it will serve me to call someone an 'ejective orfice'. Then again, it will make me laugh so that might work. I'll have to go through my recent posts to find other words that I will create substitutes for, you bunch of ding-a-lingy, ejecting orfice, ineffective, less than intelligent bottom feeding...mormons! Just testing Gosh, I shouldn't need any more substitute words. That seems like more than enough for now, right? I have to go with what empirically works and build upon that. I have had about a 98% success rate with healing worker bees that have fallen into the ocean. My success has been so empirically guaranteed that one of Mother Nature's nicknames for me is: The Bee Master Just yesterday a worker bee was on the ground in front of my house. I could tell by the way it was walking that it was injured. I casually put my hand down offering my fingers for it to walk on. As usual. at first the little bee didn't trust me. Then I could feel the Spirit of Mother Nature assuring the little bee that it had nothing to worry about and that I was there to help. The bee then walked onto my hand and I began the ritual of having it walking along the tips of my fingers. I have been so empirically successful with this method that I take it for granted. The bee walks along my fingertips as I continue to put one hands in front of the other so that the little bee continues to have fingertips to walk along. While this is happening I envision tremendous healing energy pouring through my fingertips into the little bee and focus my Intent with increasingly single-minded concentration. The bee walks faster and faster and faster until it has absorbed enough healing energy and then flies away. I've done this so many times in my life that I have hardly given it a second thought until now. Mother Nature says that I am like an electric guitar which is only as loud as the amplifier it is plugged into. If my Intent is plugged into the amplifier of the Entire Universe there is no telling just what I can accomplish through my consciousness... ...If the Spirit of Intent decides to honor my borderline obsessive desire to heal my beloved planet Earth. There's the 'rub' What YOU people may think of this is completely irrelevant. YOUR agreements or lack of faith have nothing whatsoever to do with my success or lack thereof. I have recently passed a very important test. I chose to devote myself to the manifestation of the dream over the sexual option that was offered to me. Mother Nature is proud of me and is determined that I should be successful in the manifestation of all my good and wonderful dreams. This is all that truly matters. What small-fry, faithless petty tyrants think of this is completely irrelevant. The truth is your opinions are worth less than the dung I flush and that is a fact. IT GOES SOMETHING LIKE THIS
The Spirit of Intent is the source from which all things manifest. It is beyond all names, forms and limitation. It is beyond any concept that humans have tried to pin on it. It exists in a realm beyond opposites. It is not "alive" because it cannot "die" and is intricately involved in the healing of everything it creates. Whenever ANYTHING heals Intent is the force that causes the healing. Then we have the Spirit of Mother Nature, which spans all the galaxies in the entire Universe. It is indeed alive and can die and is responsible for the manifestation of all life in the Universe. Then we have the Spirit of the Earth. Just like the spirit of an individual being the Earth has a spirit and there is indeed a difference between the Spirit of Mother Nature and the spirit of the Earth. Then there are the Spiritual families of particular locations. Certain places on the Earth are supercharged with the life-force energy of the Earth. Some shamanistic cultures call those places "Power Spots" and they are indeed sacred sites. Different Power Spots have different personalities, but they are all a part of one big Universal Family of which mankind has been 'kicked out'. Thus the reason for mankind's wanton destruction of this beautiful planet. To the Spirit of Intent nothing really matters. All is made of pure thought and if this planet blows up it will be recycled. Nothing is wasted. So to get the Spirit of Intent to be especially concerned about this microscopic planet requires incredible gestures of largess. Offerings of gratitude and appreciation that radiate outward with incredibly powerful majestic force. Every wonderful thing I may receive MUST be paid for and the currency of the Spirit of Intent is...suffering. Suffering for what is good is the way the Spirit of Intent causes the determined warrior to earn his rank within the the Universal Force of Mother Nature. For the success of my Intent to heal worker bees I have been given what can be considered invisible medals. Supposedly, according to Mother Nature, I am like the equivalent of a five-star general in the military. The worker bees can see the medals given to me by the bees I have saved and that is why they listen to Mother Nature when She says that I can be trusted. I don't even want to think of how much more suffering I must endure before I can heal this planet. Chances are I won't be successful. My success is paramount to my enjoying my life to the fullest and yet...well...I guess I just have to learn how to enjoy suffering. Oh boy!

"Self-importance
is our greatest enemy. Think about it. What weakens us is feeling offended by the deeds and misdeeds of our fellow men. Our self-importance requires that we spend most of our lives offended by someone. "The new seers recommended that every effort should be made to eradicate self-importance from the lives of warriors. I have followed that recommendation, and much of my endeavors with you has been geared to show you that without self-importance we are invulnerable." ...He said that seers, old and new, are divided into two categories. The first one is made up of those who are willing to exercise self-restraint and can channel their activities toward pragmatic goals which would benefit other seers and man in general. The other category consists of those who don't care about self-re-straint or about any pragmatic goals. It is the consensus among seers that the latter have failed to resolve the problem of self-importance. "Self-importance is not something simple and naive," he explained. "On the one hand, it is the core of everything that is good in us; and on the other hand, the core of everything that is rotten. To get rid of the self-importance that is rotten requires a masterpiece of strategy. Seers through the ages have given the highest praise to those who have accomplished it." I complained that the idea of eradicating self-importance, although very appealing to me at times, was really incomprehensible. I told him that I found his directives for getting rid of it so vague I could not follow them. "I've said to you many times," he said, "that in order to follow the path of knowledge, one has to be very imaginative. You see, in the path of knowledge nothing is as clear as we'd like it to be." "Warriors fight self-importance as a matter of strategy, not principle," he replied. "Your mistake is to understand what I say in terms of morality." "I see you as a highly moral man, don Juan," I insisted. "You've noticed my impeccability, that's all," he said. "Impeccability, as well as getting rid of self-importance, is too vague a concept to be of any value to me," I remarked. Don Juan choked with laughter, and I challenged him to explain impeccability. "Impeccability is nothing else but the proper use of energy," he said. "My statements have no inkling of morality. I've saved energy and that makes me impeccable. To understand this, you have to save enough energy yourself." We were quiet for a long time. I wanted to think about what he had said. Suddenly, he started talking again. "Warriors take strategic inventories," he said. "They list everything they do. Then they decide which of those things can be changed in order to allow themselves a respite in terms of expending their energy." MY COMMENT: As I read The Fire From Within I am realizing that everything don Juan stated which I cannot personally verify I judge by the standards of how interesting it is, not by whether or not it is true. As with all mythologies, I feel the stories that carry the important lessons must be interesting. That is more important than for the stories to be true. I find the stories about the ancient Toltec seers to be very interesting. Is it true? I don't know, but I do know it is interesting and the narratives that lead to the importantly true knowledge that don Juan shares are interesting, compelling and very well written. These lessons about self-importance are tremendously important to those who truly want to better themselves. It stands to reason that they mean nothing to those who care nothing about bettering themselves; and that pretty much sums up the ways of the CC skeptics. They care nothing about bettering themselves. They are always trying to find fault. It is the fault finders in life that make life a miserable experience. They are always looking for things to complain about. I consider such people to be losers and only fools consistently associate with losers. I am determined to MAKE the best of don Juan's teachings, and those of others, work to better my life. While you losers continue to nit pick I will continue to become stronger and to advance. We'll see who has the last laugh. As far as laughter is concerned, one of the MAIN THINGS that still inspires me about don Juan was his ability to laugh at things that would make me frustrated. I've done my best to emulate don Juan in this and have had tremendous success! I am now much, much better at laughing at things that used to frustrate me and I also have greater control over my self-importance. Interesting to see the correlation between the two. It is logical to conclude that the less self-importance one has the easier it becomes to laugh at the frustrations and ironies of life. I've also validated the don Juan concept of saving energy through impeccable thoughts, words, actions and reactions to life. Living an un-impeccable life is like continually driving through life in a car with tires that have slow leaks. It's difficult to get anywhere when your tires are continually going flat because they have slow leaks. You always have to expend extra energy refilling them. Life, at its best, is not this way. The true warrior does his best to fix all the slow leaks in his life through increasingly impeccable living. The more energy a warrior saves the more he can do and the Universe respects a warrior who truly respects himself. The sloppy-minded, self-important weaklings who are always finding fault should never expect any great things from the Sentient Universe. Don Juan was indeed correct in that the Universe is Sentient, Conscious and Aware. I never remember him directly stating this, but it was always implied. That is why he lived his life directed by agreements from the world and by omens. These are the continual reminders that the Universe is indeed Sentient, Conscious and Aware.

Don Juan said then that in the strategic inventories of warriors,
self-importance figures as the activity that consumes the greatest amount of energy, hence, their effort to eradicate it. "One of the first concerns of warriors is to free that energy in order to face the unknown with it," don Juan went on. "The action of rechanneling that energy is impeccability." He said that the most effective strategy was worked out by the seers of the Conquest- the unquestionable masters of stalking. It consists of six elements that interplay with one another. Five of them are called the attributes of warriorship: control, discipline, forbearance, timing, and will. They pertain to the world of the warrior who is fighting to lose self-importance. The sixth element, which is perhaps the most important of all, pertains to the outside world and is called the petty tyrant. He looked at me as if silently asking me whether or not I had understood. "I'm really mystified," I said. "You keep on saying that la Gorda is the petty tyrant of my life. Just what is a petty tyrant?" "A petty tyrant is a tormentor," he replied. "Someone who either holds the power of life and death over warriors, or simply annoys them to distraction." Don Juan had a beaming smile as he spoke to me. He said that the new seers developed their own classification of petty tyrants. Although the concept is one of their most serious and important findings, the new seers had a sense of humor about it. He assured me that there was a tinge of malicious humor in every one of their classifications because humor was the only means of counteracting the compulsion of human awareness to take inventories and to make cumbersome classifications. The new seers, in accordance with their practice, saw fit to head their classification with the primal source of energy- the one and only ruler in the universe- and they called it simply 'the tyrant'. The rest of the despots and authoritarians were found to be, naturally, infinitely below the category of the tyrant. Compared to the source of everything, the most fearsome and tyrannical men are buffoons. Consequently, they were classified as petty tyrants, pinches tiranos. He said that there were two subclasses of minor petty tyrants. The first subclass consisted of the petty tyrants who persecute and inflict misery but without actually causing anybody's death. They were called little petty tyrants, pinches tiranitos. The second consisted of the petty tyrants who are only exasperating and bothersome to no end. They were called small-fry petty tyrants, repinches tiranitos, or teensy-weensy petty tyrants, pinches tiranitos chiquititos. I thought his classifications were ludicrous. I was sure that he was improvising the Spanish terms. I asked him if that was so. "Not at all," he replied with an amused expression. "The new seers were great ones for classifications. Genaro is doubtless one of the greatest. If you'd observe him carefully, you'd realize exactly how the new seers feel about their classifications." He laughed uproariously at my confusion when I asked him if he was pulling my leg. "I wouldn't dream of doing that," he said, smiling. "Genaro may do that, but not I, especially when I know how you feel about classifications. It's just that the new seers were terribly irreverent." He added that the little petty tyrants are further divided into four categories: one that torments with brutality and violence, another that does it by creating unbearable apprehension through deviousness, another which oppresses with sadness, and the last which torments by making warriors rage. "La Gorda is in a class of her own," he added. "She is an acting, small-fry petty tyrant. She annoys you to pieces and makes you rage. She even slaps you. With all that she is teaching you detachment." "That's not possible!" I protested. "You haven't yet put together all the ingredients of the new seers' strategy," he said. "Once you do that, you'll know how efficient and clever is the device of using a petty tyrant. I would certainly say that the strategy not only gets rid of self-importance, it also prepares warriors for the final realization that impeccability is the only thing that counts in the path of knowledge." He said that what the new seers had in mind was a deadly maneuver in which the petty tyrant is like a mountain peak and the attributes of warriorship are like climbers who meet at the summit. "Usually, only four attributes are played," he went on. "The fifth, will, is always saved for an ultimate confrontation when warriors are facing the firing squad, so to speak." "Why is it done that way?" "Because will belongs to another sphere, the 'unknown'. The other four belong to the 'known'; which is exactly where the petty tyrants are lodged. In fact, what turns human beings into petty tyrants is precisely the obsessive manipulation of the known." MY COMMENT: This concept of using the petty tyrants in our lives in order to advance us in Spiritual Power is amazingly useful when properly adapted. In my view the Ultimate Tyrant is the force behind this Western human culture that has numbed people to the fact that the Earth is a Living, Sentient Being. The Tyrant numbs people to this truth and is intent on raping the Earth to death for the sake of financial profit. Everywhere you go supposedly "normal" people are a part of the machinery of this invisible 'beast'. We are all made guilty and as one advances in the Spirit of the Intent of the Universe of course you will find yourself rubbing against the invisible beast of this Earth raping system. This is most clear to me when I come back from a power spot in a deep waking trance state. I am very rudely awakened by the system and it can extremely difficult for me to do things in the world before I allow myself to readjust to this unnatural way of existence. So, to me, an Earth raping and destroying society is filled with petty tyrants that I can use to better myself through stalking. The average person complains while the true warrior strives to use EVERYTHING and EVERYONE to his or her advantage. I am still learning, but I am always on the alert when I deal with humanity and strive to be ready to use ANY petty tyrant who crosses my path to my overall advantage. I'm sure YOU must realize that, to me, this is a forum full of petty tyrants. Very petty indeed, but I am grateful that I am USING YOU to my advantage whether you realize it or not and for this, as don Juan would, I thank you

I decided against buying them the concept of the tonfa slipping out of my hands at full speed is frightening I can easily envision broken house and car windows not to mention what those tonfa can do to a person when flying like a propeller at full speed!! The tonfa would end up in the special bag that holds all my other too dangerous to use martial arts weapons

contains the missing link that is not contained in the philosophy of don Juan or the other self-help philosophies I have been reading It's just that this book directly confronts what others give a passing reference to I need this book to help complete me and the manifestation of my dreams into 3D reality

UPDATE: So here I am in the future and I was extremely successful in manifesting an AWESOME cardio martial arts workout Using a heart-rate monitor really does the trick It gives you something to shoot for 'SEEING' your general heart-rate during different rates of physical stress is really, really cool! It makes cardio martial arts work REALLY FUN!!!

I believe I now understand that the intersecting point between The Secret and the lessons of don Juan is the direct and assertive manipulation of Awareness and Intent. In order to properly manipulate your own awareness to the point of manifesting whatever it may be you are properly envisioning requires special permission from the force of Intent. Such permission does not come for free It MUST be paid for and the currency of the Spirit is suffering for doing good
If you refuse to pay the price you don't get the prize, period! So, I am learning now that the book, The Power, is teaching me what my offerings to Intent have been lacking. To increase the quality of one's love in an offering while suffering for doing good is what must be done. Such actions are for true masters who are serious about manipulating Intent in their favor. I have recently had tremendous success with manipulating my personal reality. However, the main focus of my Intent is still not manifesting as well as I would like it to Don Juan set his borderline obsessive Intent upon the manifestation of freedom even though he was not fully certain just what the freedom he was seeking actually was Well, I know what health actually is and I am seeing the manifesting of greater and greater health through my being and into my beloved Mother Earth. The healing of everything needed in my body is the sign that my efforts are more than my imagination HOWEVER!!! I am being told that my success with Intent is in the borderline obsessive, single-minded effort. Intent is more concerned with what you were giving your best to accomplish not with what you actually accomplished because true success is a gift of the Spirit. It does not automatically come because you make the effort Intent could easily heal this planet and solve the problem of the human infestation destroying Mother Earth. That is no problem for Intent. Getting Intent to want to do so is another matter entirely! Intent is indeed Sentient, Conscious & Aware and Intent responds favorable to those who radiate tremendous gratitude and appreciation. Increasing the power of my LOVEing gratitude is the key. Aiming towards transforming EVERYTHING I may do into an offering to the Spirit of Intent is the key To be increasingly lovingly grateful and appreciative in the midst of suffering for doing good is only for true masters! Ineffective people want nothing to do with such mastery of the self. That is THEIR choice and I respect their choice I say SUCCESS for all those who do their best to be effective people! AMEN!!

Puss In Boots Felt that his master should be thinking bigger and should be... Push 'n' Boots rather than just sandals Unfortunately, our hero could not make his master understand So he left and called himself Puss 'n' Boots in order to tell the world what he felt his master should have been doing with his life So, now you know the truth God bless you! I am making a statement here about mythologies Don Juan and otherwise That those who want to make their masters heroes of the world will indeed embellish any story about their heroes in order to make them more appealing to those who cannot verify the embellished stories they have told The peasants who do such things seem to think That God smiles upon their efforts Oh well.... |
