I wanted to post a topic as something of a contribution. I could not decide on one and then it came to me all by itself as I allowed it and gave it time. One of the most intriguing thing about the Toltec teachings , for me, is re remembering certain points that I have read but only this time understanding them from a point of experience. Something that made no sense but stuck in the mind as words suddenly clicks in to place and becomes a real topic. The four directions was like this for me and the concept and its practice now feature as the larger part of my Challenge at present. The North is the place of strength. I cant remember what the east is. Its probably not that important lol!. The south is the place of dreaming and the west is the place of death. I know Death the best because power and death were more at one than I could have previously imagined. Strength for me is like a leap of faith, suddenly just knowing what action to take, for better or for worse. Dreaming I feel quite at home with since my waking life has turned quite dreamy. I think the East is the place of warmth which I am always frantically searching for, forgetting that all flowers need light to grow. I wonder what anyone's thoughts are about the directions in practice.
