The four directions
#1
I wanted to post a topic as something of a contribution.  I could not decide on one and then it came to me all by itself as I allowed it and gave it time.  One of the most intriguing thing about the Toltec teachings , for me, is re remembering certain points that I have read but only this time understanding them from a point of experience.  Something that made no sense but stuck in the mind as words suddenly clicks in to place and becomes a real topic.  The four directions was like this for me and the concept and its practice now feature as the larger part of my Challenge at present.  The North is the place of strength. I cant remember what the east is.  Its probably not that important lol!.  The south is the place of dreaming and the west is the place of death.  I know Death the best because power and death were more at one than I could have previously imagined.   Strength for me is like a leap of faith, suddenly just knowing what action to take, for better or for worse.  Dreaming I feel quite at home with since my waking life has turned quite dreamy.  I think the East is the place of warmth which I am always frantically searching for, forgetting that all flowers need light to grow.    I wonder what anyone's thoughts are about the directions in practice.

based on feeling...the directions look like this to me:

EAST

WEST

NORTH

Any my current relationship with them is....I seek the eastern lightness, I feel north is most like me, I am cozy with west (makes me feel alive), and south is the most inscrutable, subtle, and cold.

I did haunted house for west...not because I perceive it as evil, but as the direction with the most mystery and unknown, and perhaps for such reason many people seem to not want to know, repel from it.

But the fact that the entity in the house has a satellite dish should put some people at ease, lol. I mean, would a real demon have cable?

I think that is definably a topic worthy of further debate. I suppose it depends what kind of TV real demons are in to. The thing about movies is that good mostly wins so I think demons might end up feeling dejected and unsatisfied with cable. But then that is just TV anyway. Most people after time will feel that way about TV. I really despise the forces of darkness Good is so much gooder. lol.

Perhaps we can debate any uses for the 4 directions?

I think doubt is a demon...oh and also they own/operate all the TV networks, especially Fix, I mean Fox.

The directions are good to use in meditation for breaking fixed directions. A person who is fixed in one direction will stagnate and become powerless. North is power. South is sexual. West is sorcery and East is peace. Just my personal refections of the directions.

Cool Wolf. And it seems to me if we were to continue checking back on our perceptions (about the directions) that they would be shifting. Reminds me of those tests you can get from the doctor where they check your body levels (organ secretions) and see whats in balance, whats too little of and whats too much of.

"My party is still in the forming stage and based on what I have been taught I maybe only going with a few because of the Red Sky world that I will be part of." ~ NLW

This was interesting to me...have some things to share on it.

When I was at PP everything was blue, blue is Lujan's color, and lots of us there followed suit, me included. One night I dreamt I was in a house with red walls. I liked this house, it had a great effect on me and how I felt when in it...good, powerful. I thus began my association with red...a color I was never drawn too. I began to wear red, buy thing that were red...slowly and only because I truly liked it, not becasue I felt I was following an omen.

When I left pp, I made my profile page tiffany.parallelpercetion all red, and have had a picture of an anime girl in a red sky, http://tiffany.parallelperception.yuku.com/ again felt most akin to that. Now above for north I put a red sky in a globe. I didn't plan the red sky part, just the color red in a globe was my visual so went to find a picture of it and found that one. Also above I said that felt north was most like me.

Red is so familiar to me, I feel at home with it now, but hadn't before until the dream. My wei shan yang profile page has blue but only because I like the picture, lol.

Anyway, that's about me and red and red skies. I just know it feels powerful and honest. Red can look like a sinister color which is why I avoided it. And the reason I am drawn to it now is the opposite, it no longer has that previous perception for me, it now feels like where I want to be. And I'm not saying "Lonewolf take me with you, lol". Whatever I do I do alone, but if it happens to involve you too, cool. I don't even know how warrior parties leave together. I mean I know, but don't know.

One never knows what will happen in the future but can intend it, thus we set the stage. The Red Sky world is what I know I will be part of only based on intent and what I was shown. There will be others there and I know some I will come and get when they leave this world, Tiffany you may be in China but thats not far way to me...What is the red sky? Some say the beginning of the end and some say the end to the beginning. I believe in the latter.

LoneWolf,

Thanks for telling me a little about the red sky world. I hadn't even heard of it until you posted in Oracle. If my intent leads me there, then will see you there : ) I appreciate you saying you will come get me, please understand I do not want this though, to not get to my destiny on my own ability would be defeat for me. This is a case of something worth dying for, and I'm not afraid of my fate. Perhaps my omens meant something else I am yet to discover? Who knows... Spirit knows that's who, lol.

Oh, and just wanted to add I have tremendous respect for you Wolf. And it would be an honor to be in your party. I just have to get there on my own is all. Since I am not sure of what I am not sure of, and only sure of what I am sure of, this is the most I can say for sure right now

To add: to get there on your own is part of a true warriors fate...I carry none but stand next to a few.
