Becoming an angel
#1
When researching mans past and religion that I have been doing along with my father and I use a lot of his own references of his insights along with mine and I personally feel that when a man reaches the attainment of awareness that is outside of the predatory attention elements that make man a "Man of Knowledge" or in better terms someone that has reach the "third attention" one becomes a "Angel".
Why I mention such a statement is that if you keep in consideration the info on this is mostly biblical of the mentioning of angels but if you were to look at it from the origin it started much earlier in abstract reference of the such divine entities that say the same thing which is repeated over and over which if you would ask to elaborate I would gladly do so.
One reference which is from me is that comes from D.J. is that when you reach the third attention you mirror the "Eagle" and that would be one that has wings.
While attaining the third attention and you mirrored the "Eagle" How would you be perceived?
It is my contention or theory that you become an angel if you attain the third attention to dart past the eagle to be free.
My Dads book is called ("Eagle"- The Eternal Escort) with the sub title the 'Orgin of Angels' and since I have been thinking about this for over twenty some years now with my own experiences that I can only confirm this theory.

I know its quite a big statement to say but my father that passed away 12 years ago was like a theologian, he studied all religions and refused to read any of the Carlos books because he told me that he did not want that to effect his thinking.
He mapped out the first mentioning of angels and or winged deities along with mans obsession with the eagle or bird of prey and the afterlife and what we particularly found was altered stone birds found by the thousands around there burial places and through research of the people (culture) that they were part of the ancient seafarers found all over the world that shared this very same or similar practice, one example that is similar but different and that is Egypt, they had Horus and around king Tuts tomb it was guarded by four winged deities.
We found that the eagle was the Carrier of the soul into the afterlife or other world.

Like I said it is my guess that it may be so and the reason that I think this is from my states of heightened awareness.
This is my personal theory.

Actually I like this train of thought and see your correlation Aranno. That the relationship between angels and naguals is something we can go further with.

The "not doing" of Paul and Jesus are apparent in their teachings.
Paul said; "Judge not according to the appearance of things, but judge righteous judgement"
Jesus said; "Consider the ravens who neither reap nor sow, yet God provides for them."
What does that have to do with anything?
We (all of mankind since we fell to this plane) are Spiritual beings caught in a physical world. This world is referred to in Scripture as "This World".
We cannot See "This World" because it is all around us and all we have ever known. All that 99.9999% of anyone we have ever known, has ever known.
Jesus said; "my Kingdom is not of "This World".
Don Juan said that we live in the Tonal, but that there is a Nagual.
They were saying the same thing. What we think we know is not all there is to reality.
The Bible says that when we return we will be "Greater than the angels having known both good and evil."
But let's take a look at exactly where we are,..where we are living and what it is we must escape from.
Both old and new Testaments are written both mathmatically and on various other levels.(or maybe langages or codes would be a better term)
The mathmatical (or Gematria in Hebrew) code is written so that each letter is a number also. Any phrase or word is added up to find it's number and relates to other phrases or words that equal, or are multiples of those numbers.
Equal in number is equal in meaning.
Jesus said; "My kingdom is not of This World."
So lets find out what "This World" Is.
Satan=276x2
The evil one=276x8
The ruler of the demons=276x16
The Dragon=276x6
Now is the ruler of this world cast out=276x24
I beheld Satan fall from heaven276x14
Follow Satan= 276x9
And he was in the wilderness 40 days being tempted by Satan=276x20
Blinded the minds=276x10
In Hades=276 (Hades, by the way is the land of the dead)
This place of torment=276x9
Unclean=276x2
Demon possession=276x3
Written in the Law=276x9
The first Covenant=276x6
All things written in the Law of Moses=276x15
Stone tablets=276x6
Under the Law=276x3
The letter killeth=276x4
Satan=276x2
Satan=276x2
The Bible is about "Repentance". Repentance in Greek means to "Change our minds." To change the way we view the world around us.
It is about Awareness more than morals.
Jesus came bringing a message of Grace and Truth. A message that there was another world that we were unaware of. Same as Don Juan. There is a Nagual and we are caught in an all consuming Tonal.
As true Seers, they tried in different ways to relate what they Saw to those who were unaware that there was anything to See.
As true Seers they saw that they were caught in "This World" and that that is the first step in being able to escape it and become "...a little more than angels."
As far as the eagle goes, a friend of mine said some very profound things about that.
He said; "We are supposed to be eagles. Flying above and apart from the flocks of smaller birds. Seeing far and reaching for the heights. Not bound by the actions and beliefs of those around us, but answering to a higher call.
Alone, but not alone."

I mentioned this same thing some time ago over at SR and was laughed off the board by skeptics and believers alike.
I think it's more like when one reaches the second ring of power where one becomes and angel. An angel in the traditional sense is nothing more than a servant of God. An impeccable warrior is nothing more than a servant of the spirit. I think it's just two ways of describing the same thing.
I mentioned somewhere else, here at Wolfie's I think that what Jesus talked about, that was kept from inclusion in the bible was akin to sorcery. Walking on water? How else but with the double? Rising from the grave? How else but with the double? Healing with mere touch? Sounds like what Elias did to Julian when he was dying of a pulmonary hemorrage. Or what Julian did to don Juan when he was bleeding to death with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Angels by the way are not all fluff and light. It's ironic too because not long after I mentioned the subject of warriors being angels, or rather archangels, I went to a Christmas Eve mass at a local Episcopalean church just to show the kids what it was like. The pastor chose my son out of the crowd to bring the baby Jesus' figurine to the cresh and place it in the manger. Funny...
But then he started talking right off about angels and how they were not all light and fluffy...how many of them were downright frightening and ruthless in their pursuits of service to God.
I nodded in agreement. I thought it was a strange choice of a sermon for Chistmas Eve, but there it was. We sat right up in the front row of the tiny church. I watched the priest's movements with fascination, folding and unfolding the vestments, wiping the chalice and doing communion reflexively.
