Emphasizing the words, he specified that sorcery is the art of silence.

frightened me, but at the same time stirred up my ambition; I wanted to be as powerful as 
he was! I often asked him how I could learn his tricks, but he placed a finger on his lips 
and stared at me. It took years before I could appreciate the magnificent lesson of his 
answer. The key to sorcery is silence." 
One of the present asked him to define that concept. 
He answered: 
"It is not definable. When you practice it, you perceive it. If you try to understand it, you 
block it. Don't see it as something difficult or complex, because it is not something from 
another world; it is just silencing the mind. 
"I could tell you that silence is like a dock where ships arrive; if the dock is occupied, 
there is no space for anything new. That's my image of the matter, but the truth is I don't 
know how to speak about it." 
He explained that inner silence is not only the absence of thoughts. Rather, it is about 
suspending judgment, witnessing without interpreting. He maintained that entering 
silence could be defined, in the typically contradictory way of sorcerers, as learning 'how 
to think without words.' 
"For many of you, what I am saying doesn't make sense, because you are accustomed to 
consult your mind about everything. The ironic thing is that, for starters, our thoughts are 
not even ours. They sound through us, which is different. And since they have been 
pestering us ever since we learnt to use our reason, we have ended up getting used to 
them. 
"If you ask the mind, it will tell you that the purpose of sorcerers is nonsense, because it 
cannot be rationally demonstrated. Instead of advising you to go and verify that purpose 
honestly, it will order you to hide behind a solid block of interpretations. Therefore, if 
you want to have a chance, there is only one possible way out: Disconnect the mind! 
Freedom is achieved without thinking. 
"I know people who were able to stop their internal dialogue, and they no longer 
interpret, they are pure perception; they are never disappointed or regretful, because 
everything they do starts from the center for decisions. They have learned to deal with 
their mind in terms of authority, and they live in the most authentic state of freedom."

If you enter into the position of awareness that tells you that your mind is not yours then you have given up your own mind to another force. Watch as you lose control of your mind. If you curse your mind's development then you will also see the curses form into 'your' mind. Curse your rationality then it becomes a curse. When you say your mind only sustains your old awareness and rationality then that is all it will do. The mind is actually conscious awareness that get translated into words for some people. When the mind sees that their are worlds and positions of awareness beyond that of the old position then you have built that form of rationality, or awareness, and so their is no longer reason to remain fixated and intend fixation by accepting **** awareness. Move on, fill your mind with powerful awareness, and awareness and intent of freedom, and let your mind become a friend for you, an aspect of awareness that hunts for power to support your goal, to form awareness into that which you want to form. It's easy. The tonal of man must not be a guard but made into a guardian. It happens naturally as you form new awareness, your rationality will grow to support your new awareness positions as well as allowing the unknown to flow into 'your' 'mind'. The mind, which i call conscious awareness, is really a fantastic tool that can be made into amazing forms! Truly. Disregard all forms of curses because that is not freedom, nor a wise choice to make. Freedom does not need to be only found in silence but through making wise choices, as a calculating stalker, that the forms of awareness, the curses, and the options available, to 'think' and form a path that you want to achieve.

Carlos did not break free from his average positions of awareness of his fellow man, (at this point in time's continuity), and as a nagual he had the power to move the awareness of his fellow man into great positions. All he had to do was shift his own awareness and stop his own judgements of people to do this, as he said himself but did not do very often as I see. There are as I see countless positions of awareness of the average man. I got tired of following Carlos and don Juan's judgements of man because they suck ass. Why would I want to be better then everyone, know more then everyone, curse their minds and rationality, make them self-important asses? Because that is the positions of awareness they offer to you. When I use the 'silence' of suspending judgements and awareness I enter into worlds where everyone knows what i know, and more. When I am small the world is greater.

Yes, I do at times enter into average old world awareness because I can still judge people as dipshits, but then I have placed and set my awareness and power into these positions. So then I see that form of awareness. It is my awareness as a nagual that forms to that perception, yet when i shift awareness of humanity then humanity shifts.

i didn't know if i was a nagual at first but i wanted to be. I wanted the power of the nagual. I learned to see the source, the eagle, and found that I could simply be a nagual, or any form I wanted to be. A pure choice it is. My awareness and intent forms my body and my powers and abilities. When I enter into the awareness of a nagual then my world forms to that way and I do as a nagual does. When I wanted to be silvio, the master of will, then I shift into that position and I see then I form the nagual with my intent and will.

I agree the mind should be held with authority yes, but if that is so then why curse the mind, give it away to other forces and curse your rationality and fixate it into that position? It seems dumb to me, a contradiction.

Silence, yes, he finds it hard to explain. Its really the forces of death he is speaking of, the suspension, the termination, the letting go, the freeing of potential, the activation(setting) of power into silence, the intent and awareness that he places into silence. Science is slow but quantum physics sees that light, or energy, is two energies creation and destruction, which work together to form all ways and forms. True. Einstein and many other great minds have seen that the speed of light can be broken and surpassed by using the negative forms of energy applied to the already present constructs of light, the equations, the foundations they support. When you support that you can not travel faster then light, then you support that form of creation, but whn you apply negative value, you release the foundation, and build a new formula, a new position of awareness to perceive. They are getting there, and with my help too I might as well add.

just to add to my previous post. rationality is a form of cohesion of awareness and as such is a valuable tool to sustain our awareness and memory as well. to be a slave to one form of rationality is stupid sure, but to surpass one form and have many positions of cohesive awareness as well as the ability to leave behind one place to go to another is crucial to freedom.

I also see nothing wrong with interpreting the world we are in. I want to see the world clearly, SEEing the world. Yes I interpret and recognize the energies in the world I am in and I want this. I can't imagine not having awareness of the world i am in. interpreting the world to me is having awareness of the world i am in. Why would I not want this? It has nothing to do with having personal feelings of disappointment for whatever reason, SI, or feelings that I dislike, that merely means I have work to do in my tonal awareness and expectations and needs and desires, not that my mind is an enemy or interpretation is at fault here, just the forms of awareness I have within me. Without interpretation of these feelings and the world that i am hooked to then I would not even know about these feelings nor even have them at all as I can see. Clear interpretation is seeing directly with clear awareness and I want this. I interpret everything i see and relate it to many positions of awareness, but I do not need to have feelings about it at all in any way. I can suspend all feelings and simply see everything without feeling, or feeling if I choose to, and still interpret what i see.

To interpret is to understand by definition alone, and so in what position of awareness would you intend yourself into without understanding and why?

Did you know that the mind, or rather the consciousness, is a channel? It can send and receive awareness from any source imaginable. It can connect to the source of consciousness itself to form your thoughts, ideas, realizations etc into you in the way your attention intends and focuses to form. This source of consciousness is like a raw formless potential itself, and you can form it to be like honey to your soul, even so that it tastes like honey, full of sweetness, power, and knowledge of your choosing. You can extend your attention to other beings, inorganics, people, animals, etc, and allow them to enter into your mind too, and vice versa. If you see this connection of consciousness and how it forms into your mind as someone else's then you will perceive that form of consciousness, because it can form to any pattern you can conceive of. it is how many people, but not all, develop schizophrenia and lose their minds. it is a split. Many advanced beings have actually studied this art form and use it as a self mitosis to split their own awareness into multiple beings willfully, and even form the beings to their own will and designs. it's truly incredible and the potential for this application is.. well incredible. We can split our attention even and form new awareness', beings, from different people even, splitting, or spicing their consciousness and merging it to form specific beings of awareness, harnessing the specific thoughts, realizations, memories etc to form the new being to the intended design. We can even form them into physical beings, in a way like.. Tayloring Swiftly a new entity. understand?

My point here is simple, do NOT give your mind away, and be careful, very careful indeed about which type of awareness you apply to your self. Examine the awareness, the knowledge given to you, and see what it forms before you accept it. It is seeing. See freely.

I will address your question first regarding God, as it appeals to me greatly. I have been stalking God, and many forms of Gods for a very long time. The answer is yes absolutely. Any God you give 'reality' to will form into your awareness and perception to align to the form you have given as being reality. Does this mean that if you believe that God is not real that he is not? No, not as far as I have seen. I know this because when I activated God into my awareness he still knew everything about me, and every detail of my life, every memory i ever had was perfectly preserved in him, as well as every desire and wish I had ever made. He was always there but did not show himself to me until I sought him. This applied to Shiva, Indra, Brahma, and Vishnu to name a few of many. The forms of these Gods remained true despite me not believing in them and despite my own knowledge and awareness of them and so when I sought them they activated into my world as they are, and not as I thought they were. Their essence was merely unknown to me before this. However it did take my intent to activate them into view. It took me seeking them out. And yes they do enter into your consciousness if you invite them, or if you focus your attention and intent into them to open a channel into you. At first I merely opened my conscoiusness to learn of creation and destrction and let go of my body and mind to flow to these channels, the unknown, and my body followed. I then drew great, amazing pictures of sacred geometry that reflected perfectly the awareness being channeled through me. These pictures led me to al the great Gods, and the pictures and forms that they create, as being perfect symbols of creation and death. Many forms I learned yet I knew nothing of them beforehand. These pictures were also magical and in motion surpassing the average world of art. The Christian teaching that states give power, glory, trust and faith to God is a great one, and aligns with the toltec teaching to claim, and set your power accordingly, because that is the result you will manifest. WHen you invest your power and trust in a perfect God that is beyond you in every way, a teacher, friend, etc, then that is the form that the God will take for you, as an Ally. The Father of all creation. When You say God is within all things at all times, then you begin to activate this awareness because you have set this form of power, and thus begin to enter into the form. Trully wonderous. Allies can be made into any form, they are everything, and nothing, and they are at their essence indifferent, raw, and as such can be made into friend or foe, depending on how you set your intent, knowledge and awareness.

Well Carlos address rationality as if it is a curse, a negative form of awareness that keeps one fixated into the average world. A world that is not our own but has been handed to us from years of conditioning that has set our awareness position, rationality, and intent to form and remain in that world. While being true to some degree it is a very shallow level of awareness in itself. Just because the knowledge and awareness taught to you is not your own, even though you have unknowingly accepted it, does not mean that you must keep that position, nor the rationality that sustains those positions. It does not mean your mind is not your own, nor that your rationality can not expand, be reformed to accept new, free, and expanded ways. Believe it or not there are positions of pure rationality, pure silent knowledge, that see each other clearly, and in these positions one may SEE each position clearly, to understand them, to see them, from many positions of reality, even simultaneously. It is pure reason. This position of reason, rationality, is not bound to any 1st attention but sees attention clearly, and so the rationality in this position is not negative but is created from seeing the essence of reality, including the nature of freedom which is also rational. So long as you have moved to this position. Carlos addresses yet again the shallow position of man's rationality only and speaks of it as if it is a curse, as if your mind is not your own, but this leads to detriment if accepted in this form.

The answer is simply, shift your awareness, including your rationality, to see it clearly, once you see that the old world form of rationality has been bound yet other positions of awareness exist, including freedom, you begin to shift your rationality into this way. At this point your newly forming rationality will no longer merely support the old world, but will begin to form to the new awareness, the expanded awareness you have come to accept and see. It is the art of cultivating the pathways of consciousness within you that you are free to form for yourself. When an average man looks into the sky he sees it as he was taught to see it, the wind moving the clouds to pressure currents etc. His rationality supports this in his mind and he sees it's formation. Yet when he learns to stop his mind, and forms a new angle of perception he can see the skies in new formations. At this point his advancing state of ratioanlity no longer supports the old paradigm but has shifted now to support his new position of rationality, because the old position has collapsed. He can see now that the old position of rationality was true in that position, yet in the new position holds a new angle and form of rationality, thus his awareness is expanding, growing, and he has broken the fixation to the old rationality. He can now use any of the new positions of rationality as well as let them go and form new positions of awareness, new laws, and new ways for himself, or through adopting other forms from various sources. His rationality, his reason, now is formed to accept new positions, to let go of it's hold, as well as see and understand reason, rationality, logic, etc, for what it is and what it does. However if he supports Carlos' teaching that says his mind is not his own, his rationality is a curse that only supports the old world, then he is sustaining that form of ratioanlity and as such it will form to battle him. As I have myself seen and done. Carlos teaches you to claim and to set your power accordingly, yet he sets it for you by saying "rationality fights to sustain the old world, and prevents you from being free, etc", in this form of awareness and intent you will undoubtedly see this way form within you, as I have and surpassed. If you want to really claim and set your own power you will intend your rationality to be fluid, friendly, and helpful etc, as you see it should be. He is right that for average people that do not see freedom, power, and awareness that their ratioanlity will support what they know only, but fails to address the advancement of ratioanlity and reason to a positive position, and leaves it at a cirsed position, that he seeks to sustain, and not set free. His awareness seeks to trap you, and steal your mind. It's not surprising to me at all since carlos sees inorganic beings as trappers, and needing your life and awareness, and as such in those positions the awareness and knowledge he forms naturally forms to these ways, and so his awareness has been set into these way. When you judge your mind as an enemy, or awareness as an enemy that seeks to hold you, trap you, and use you, you can surely bet that the knowledge and awareness attained in these worlds will be set into these ways. Countless times I have judged the beings in my world to Carlos' standard and carefully watch as they instantly align to these variables thereby producing to me trapped forms of awareness and knowledge that they seek to push into me, however when I suspend that awareness and give them power to be free for themselves, not needing anything, not being self-important, but being selfless and truly helpful then the water beings to flow down that channel and I get the best of what the world has to offer. Same applies to my own mind, the moment I say it is someone else's, a being or entity that seeks to trap me, or pin me down, to use me, then indeed the channels of my mind begin to form in that pattern and design. It is the true crux of sorcery that states awareness aligns to form your perception, your experience. Thus my goal in these posts is to show you that when you apply negative forms of knowledge and awareness to yourself, your body, mind, world, etc, then THAT is what you set with your intent and will, thus your awareness of reality forms the reality you are aware of. Be mindful and see where the pathways lead before you accept them, stalk them carefully and make a decision.

Is rationality limited? Yes, it certainly can be if you hold to it. If you need a valid reason, or proof of something in order to achieve it then yes it can hold you. You can not move the skies if you are invested your power in the wind doing it, and not invested in your awareness position doing it. Thus the rationality, the reason, of the wind will move the clouds, and this rationality will hold and sustain this form of experience. Surely, This does not mean that ratioanlity is an enemy though, no it is merely sustaining the knowledge and awareness of that position, that world, and this is also very useful measure of cohesion. If you realize that your intent and will is unlimited and can exceed the boundaries of logic and reasoning positions, then you can do anything and no reason nor rationality can hold you, but alas this is still a system of reasoning, a system of rationality and logic, but one that supports power, infinity, and freedom. And as such to condemn reason and rationality and logic is a foolish act since it can be met into a position that is free and unlimited, as well as understanding. Then your reasoning, your tonal, supports you indefinately and knows that you can succeed beyond doubt and limitations of crappy reasoning. Expand your boundaries and your limitations, expand your reasoning and rationalilty, seek to understand freedom and infinity, as well as finite positions of the world, yet not be bound by them, in this path your rationality will form to these blueprints, you are willing your path into formation, and as such your reason and logic will form from this way, into this way. Set your path carefully, see the destination, even if it mostly unknown to you at this time, because every path exists and can be achieved, then you are using your tonal to navigate the nagual, using infinity as your northstar. Everything exists in infinity, including cursed forms of reasoning, limitations, boundaries, and even pure forms of reason and ratioanlity, clear and perfect logic that sees and knows all things, the path is yours to set.

I don't mean to presume to comprehend the full ins and outs of this conversation however something strikes me about communication in general which I would like to share and that is the fact that we have a view of the world. In Theun Mares books the preferred method of an aspiring man knowledge is to have no view in particular so I wonder what others on this forum feel about this. Again in Theuns books (my point of reference) Theun talks a great deal about how even Warriors make the mistake of confirming and strengthening their view of the world while claiming to be trying to shake it off.

In my experience I have noticed the way I used to talk to people from my view of the world and if they did not understand it always seemed as though I was right and they were wrong and in daily life this happens all the time and so i feel having a different view of the world is perhaps one of the most important subjects for apprentices to the warriors path.

Having a different view of the world, in my view, is like having slightly different rules to the same game. One thing I have struggled with is the fact that a view of the world is just a view and therefore can be no more or less valid than any other.

Theun certainly does have many many views of the world, and many of them are in fact incorrect as I have seen for myself. His view of sorcery and don Juan's lineage and teachings for example.

Also the goal of a man of knowledge to remove all views of the world would leave him not a man of knowledge but a man without knowledge. Make sense? 

Many newbie warriors seek to remove their habitual awareness surely, yet the true goal of the warrior is freedom as well as enhancing awareness, expanding awareness, to hieghten awareness. This does not imply to erase awareness necesarily, but should apply to erasing the negative forms, limitations, self-importance and destructive knowledges. 

Two aspects of awareness, in regards to sorcery teachings, state that we use the art of making cohesion of awareness and the art of achieving fluidity of awareness. Together they create many views of reality, many forms of reality, while not holding nor being fixated within any one place. But having the mobility to leave one place to enter into another. Very valid practice for achieving freedom of awareness. When developng and seeking cohesion of a new position we seek to strengthen the bonds, while leaving it behind we seek to remove the bonds. Warriors create inventories of the world, then leave them behind and laugh at them, to create another and so on, advancing and expanding in the process. Thus the eagles gift enhances awareness, enrichens life. 

Yes I agree, many different positions of awareness, perspectives, and viewpoints of reality create infinite diversity and in infinite combinations. The true goal of the Eagle. His command. However some views are still incorrect or invalid. Maybe not for Theun who believes the warriors path does not lead to freedom, thus for him it will not lead to freedom, but for many others it does. It is his knowledge and intent that sets to this way. To say that it does not lead to freedom for others who see the path and set their intent to freedom is to spread his will onto others to deny their own path to freedom. Thereby his will and way does not support freedom for himself and for others, thus his will does not support the path for anyone. His teachings in my view do not lead to freedom therefor, and this to me is invalid, incorrect, and not better in any way then a view that leads to freedom.

I clearly underatand you. 'View'  = position of awareness, or inventory, or tonal, even perspective that forms the perception in our AP. This is why i say the goal for newbies is to remove the habituated awareness, the average conditioning of our awareness position to promote fluidity, mobility, while keeping the underpinnings. That is the first goal for newbies so to break the fixation, hense disrupting routines etc. However the goal is to expand awareness, and attain fluidity as well as cohesion. Not to dump everythign away that you have learned, but to be free of it, while still retaining awareness. A stalker stalks everything in the world, everything in the tonal, to expand and to grow, to learn, but not being fixated to what he learnes and forms. So to be able to leave it behind, to move into another position, but still retains the other positions he has found so he can also retain and re-enter into them. Thus forming not just one view, the habituated view, but many views, as well as expanding them. Enrichening them through the energies of life and death, birth, renewal, setting free, letting go, and returning as well. yes the newbie goal speaks of fixations, rigidity, and clinging despretely to what they know, the totality of the tonal position, and so focuses drastically on the techniques needed to remove the fixations to attain fluidity and freedom. However cohesion is equally important to a seasoned sorcerer, stalker and dreamer. Not just leaving the world behind, but also retaining the world, what we know, so to leave, form new positions, and to re-enter them again if desired. To make use of two sides of infinity - activity and inactivity. 

To have no view at all is to have no awareness, no knowledge that is active in your perception or AP. yet to have inactive knowledge and awareness within you, that is not formed into perception is still to have a view. Thats all.
