I wasn't expecting to write any of those things on my top five it just happened this way. If I was thinking about myself the list would look like this.



1) Not being able to be a Warrior

2) loosing my mind

3) having to go and live with one of my parents again through a lack of being able to take care of my self

4) Being seen a certain way by others

5) ruining my life



I think I could probably go on for quite a long time. many lists, many fears, maybe I'll write them all down since this has helped a bit. I also like to ignore my fears, ignorance just might be bliss.

As of 2012, another 7 years have passed, i see the situation like this:



Form Your own groups, work on that.



I will explain it:



If You follow the project of your life (school, business, ranch, etc your field) , it all literary aranges around



You just practice the path and everything literary aranges around, forms up as you follow the designs.... everybody will meet up together in the end, anyway, just take care



its simple as that, just to be practicing, setting up and exploring dreaming (you meet up the warriors all over the world in the dreaming)



and then you form group/party either in your country or city, or the members are living separately. You just hangout and then flank together in the second attention.









*************Whats important is to follow your life project and pass the gates of dreaming one by one. The others are here to help you, as it has no sense to set sail there alone****



Maybe a matrix the film is a good metaphore for such a project, but its your life, your friends,





Hence the saying: GO TO THE SPACE TOGETHER

its a fact that current state of designs of the intent (it has shifted from 2004 to 2012) is focused on a basis of general cooperation for all mankind, new seers/aspirants/dreamers included.



The new cycle has begun. Thats sure, and i dont say it as based on some 2012 astrological theory, just from the observation of people.



The change is accelerating, the younger generations promising. I am optimistic

Like your sentiments scout. I feel that inherently we are all alone, just us and spirit. However, I would not seek to exisit in a world without friends, they are like gold, and truly close friends are so rare.

Ah yes, a lion sized spider would be worst Haha. Incidentally, the mention of lion was not random, I dreamed once a lion was after my cats. The lion and cats were out in livingroom area of house, I was in bedroom and fearing my kitties had been eaten. But then they came bolting through the a/c vent which was at foot of my bed and jumped on bed and I secured vent cover just in time before the lion, who had followed them, got through into bedroom. I saw him on other side of vent roaring, and woke up with shivers running through me. I did not fear death in that moment, rather it was the thought of being eaten alive. The two are almost the same...dying and dying by being eaten. But there was a difference. In the experience of it. Perhaps this is what facing the eagle is like, something that wants to consume you, that you are, in its view, its food.

One remark. If You will teach nagualism. I think we can call it Quantum Shamanism nowadays. I will comment on the current progress and state of science/physics later.





So.



The fundamental (most important, vital concept) here is to respect and be aware of the DUALISM - physical body-energy body.



DUALISM, dichotomy:





A) PHYSICAL BODY - and that includes not only Your physical body, but also Your consciousnes, awareness, emotions, memory. Its physical, physics, reason. Physically it all runs on electrons/quantum mechanisc. Thats energy, particles, dimensions. The structure of (physical) universe.



So the body must be respected in the whole - body and consciousness/awareness ARE THE SAME THING, must be in unity, must be strong, healthy, protected.



This is the first principle.



B) ENERGY BODY (SOUL) - pure energetic (mirror) "cognitive" unit of pure consciousness.



Linked only remotely to physical body (A), its not the physical consciousnes of waking body !



This is the second principle.

We are not "psychological" beings, we are physical beings, psychophysical beings, as the body is consciousness.



(btw when you are exercising muscles, axons are growing in the brain)



One should be perfectly healthy, at least psychologically healthy ("good tonal"), e.g. use the methods of modern psychology to get oneself ready first if there is a preliminary problem, otherwise it gets much worse.





Recapitulation is the tek dealing with that on the level of Integrity (of memory), this Integrity is everything........ (person, tonal).



The reason is very important and the science valuable (Castaneda recommends pursuing science degrees to counter the desinformation).



I.E. when describing nagualism in modern settings one should be precise as much as possible to avoid new age mysticism as its the enemy.





Only the energy body is in dualism. Its the double. Soul. Bogaboo

The CC books saga are not good at pinpointing/stressing this, thus are dangourous for people ( personality disorders, accidents with drugs) and source of misunderstanding (for example Sustained Action/reaction etc., Amy Wallace, and others)



at this point of misunderstanding the dichotomy, dualism psychophysical body - energy body.



In the practice, that means to do the physical training exercises to be in a perfect shape (not meaning the tensegrity here !) next to recapitulation and dreaming practices.

I have been doing translating work lately. It appears that there is still Castaneda material in Spanish that has not yet been translated to english. One of the items are from the notes taken from several days of lectures by Castaneda in Mexico in 1996. The following are some of passages culled from that, and followed up by a few opening paragraphs from The Power of Silence, which seemed to tie into the thoughts presented.

“Discipline for a sorcerer is a purpose. His purpose is liberty, and to arrive one polishes oneself.”

“We are bunches of energetic fields, a conglomeration. Something maintains us in order.”

DJ would say, “One cannot dominate this force (idiots!), one can accede to it. That was the error of the old sorcerers.”

“DJ would say to me, ‘you speak within syntactical margins’, e.g. ‘It is that nobody understands me.’”

DJ, “Leave all that encumbers to the daily world, you are killing yourself to behave as if normal. You do that with the little finger. The battle is in the horizon!!!”

(Somebody asked about controlled dreaming), “First get rid of the personal “I”. Controlled dreaming will not be possible until one gets rid of the personal “I”. Controlled dreaming is looking into eternity like the microbes that we are.”

CC says that we can’t control our dreams because we don’t have power. What we have are only egomaniacal journeys… CC, “One controls their dreams when there is nothing inside, no desires, angers, not even happiness. It is a supreme state. The controlled dreaming catapults you. It is a state of trampoline, of interruption of the interpretive system.”

A woman says to CC that the 3 (Tiggs, Abelar, and Donner) look like mistresses of Popov house, and he asks her, “What would you like them to look like?… She answers, “Like me!” (Speaking about the problems of people of the daily world) DJ would say to him, “Don’t go around picking fights with those people. Flatter them!!! Tell them unheard of things, like for example, “You are almost a deity!” CC once said that to a boss of his and… He swallowed it! “One should not scrimp on effort. Praise them!! Why go with anger? The battle is on the horizon. If this is the only life that I have, why waste it?”

“We are not interested in a confrontation. We don’t want to take off the mask, the mask of compassion…”

(Speaking of worrying about stupidities), “I would always say that it is too cold, to hot, too much wind…”

“We cannot criticize anyone. We are insular beings, we have boundaries… We cannot lose or give energy.”

A great physicist once said to him, “Your books distracted me for a time when I was young… but I can’t prove what you do..”. CC answered him that he neither could test his physical theories, because in order to understand the theories about gravity one has to study a lot, for example, one needs to take physics 1, 2, 3, 4.….

CC says, “I can’t put up with secrets. It is an explosion to voice oneself, what beauty! Don’t get angry if they beat you up, and neither get inflated if they praise you. Those (Chacmools) fell, but they have already checked themselves and they can’t hide that, because everything can fail!

CC, “The passes deal with collecting the peripheral energy, and pulling it…”

(CC says that tried for a long time to let more people know what he does. He has given many seminars without charging anything. He has invited the press and even once they proposed making a film, but in the end the producers thought that it would not work) CC,

“We have invited quite a few newspapers (reporters?). They come once and don’t return!..” (CC tells of how a television representative says to him in a paternal tone, “Carlitos… if what you say were true, we would have already known about it…”)

-(Somebody asks about mezcalito) CC, “Take those books of Carlos Castaneda, and burn them!! Put yourself to doing the exercises…”

-(Question: Doesn’t the contamination of the City of Mexico matter?) CC, “Not in the least…”

CC: says that he has another humor which is called the fugitive warrior. It is the only way in which the sarcasm does not hurt!

CC, “Being young when one is young is a joke, but being young when one is old…”

“Sorcerers don’t have secrets, nor can they guard secrets!”

“The art of stalking is forcing the assemblage point to maintain itself in the same position.”

“Someone or something shoved me to a world where life is not stereoscopic. Here we see lineal. We only see 15% of everything. I entered into a world of 360 degrees of vision! Upon entering into it [that state] something forced me to turn and I couldn’t see. My right side cornea betrayed me!”

“DJ would say, ‘Listen, I love my spirit, and you don’t even want yourself…’”

DJ, “The scariest thing to me, is the professional compassion; that of ‘I hug you so that you might die with me’. I spit on those!!!!” “Taking care of children is not the same. That one applauds!”

“It appears as if our whole race is at an end, in as much as I see that we do not have a way of locating ourselves… We do not have a philosophic location. It is the omen that there is no more time…”

“The magic passes were not invented. They were discovered by the ancient sorcerers. They became aware that certain bodily movements repeated what they felt in controlled dreaming” (for more energy).

“You have the energy or you don’t have it. Nobody can give it to you!”

“Flyers? The flyers are conscious beings without an organism.” When DJ explained to CC, CC said that they don’t exist. DJ told him, ‘how do you know that the consciousness of being has to have an organism?’

“The flyers feed from the total consciousness.”

“Man is the only species that has no limits. All of the species have limits. All of our consciousness of being arrives to a fringe of the big toe. That is all!! All of our consciousness of being is eaten by the flyers. The only thing that remains for us is a little bit! The whole world with I, I, I.”

“The sorcerer explains that the flyers are like shadows, like leaping crickets.”

“The consciousness of being is like a tree. If it is not pruned it grows! (the pruners are the flyers).

“The reasoning of the big toe! That is all that they leave us… If they were to eat us just a little more, we would die!”

One of the assistants says that she saw a flyer. CC says that what she has is talent, but to be able to see flyers, he says, “The sorcerers do not like the talent, they like the discipline. That they eat us is no joke, it is very serious!!”

“The flyers do not like discipline! Us with 3 days of not being eaten… it is sufficient to see!!!”

“The maneuvers of the flyers convert us from engineers into believers. How is it possible that such an intelligent being can be so dense in that? (believing in any divinity)
Who gave us those beliefs? The sorcerers say the flyers!”
“The flyers gave us the mind. The mind is not ours!

“I asked DJ, ‘What happens if the mind dissipates? What happens?’ DJ, ‘other level, you don’t think, there is knowledge!’

“I said to DJ, 2 and 2 are four, I understand that. DJ says to me, ‘You don’t understand! You use a process!’”

“The art of the sorcerer is to liberate himself from the mind.”

“We are at the mercy of those entities (flyers). They eat us like we eat chickens. They guard us and later they eat us.”

“DJ made me use my reason to arrive at an opinion negative of the flyers.”

“Without screams, without praise, the warrior battles impeccably.”

“The intellect forces us to conceptualize. The foreign installation is the mind, so think all the sorcerers of the lineage. Do things without thinking about them much. Frighten the mind!”

CC says that someone is going to discover the maneuver of the flyers, and that the moment is going to arrive in which those centers will be replete.

“DJ says that we don’t have the feet on the earth. We have the feet in idealities. We have a fear of discipline, and it is not even ours. The mind is that which makes that which gives us fear.

“The mind says, ‘but this is not scientific‘, it is a stupidity! Yes! You have to unhook the mind! Try it! Make the effort!”

“Pay attention to what I am saying before speaking. Think! You mind is going to get tired.”

“What is horrible is that you have you have to read books written by flyers.”

“What happens when one unhooks the mind? No ruminations. Direct thoughts. One cannot reflect. One reflects, but reflects poorly. There is not speculative thought; no “what would happen if….” The mind changes into something tremendously functional.”

“I believed that the mind was the experience of my life, but DJ told me that this was not so. There is a substrate which is the I, which acquired all of those experiences….”

Until one succeeds by accumulation. How much time is necessary for the mind to fall? One cannot know! It is a very difficult but dignified task.”

“I did not prepare what I was going to say. I am not thinking. I am not ruminating. I have been speaking from that silence for 35 years now.”

(Various persons present at the Saturday meeting, asked very long and nit picking questions. CC told them that those questions were made directly by the flyers. One person got really angry because he did not respond to his extensive question… [mmmm… we better understand what CC was talking about.])

“I asked DJ questions every half hour. You’re becoming German! The word to the end!

“DJ was an expert in cognitive dissonance.”

“DJ once sent me with Florinda Matus so the she could teach me about cognitive dissonance. Florinda says to me, “Good. Monday at 7:00, come over and *** me.” (it was Thursday) What!!?? I became crazy thinking about it, spinning around the issue. How was I going to do that?…… And the days passed, and every day was worse….. Until Monday arrived… So I changed, went, opened the door and… I fainted!!! From then on they knew me as the ‘fulfiller’ [the one who gets the job done]. Florinda Matus said to me, “leave the dissonances behind and come over and *** me! I don’t have dick. Those are the useless dangling things of men.””

“The end is coming. We have little time. I have to wait in order to do something… What is it? I don’t know!”

“It’s incredible. In the seminars I have seen people that can attract their energetic body with only an insinuation! I have seen talent! I don’t know what I can do with everything that I have seen!”

“What we want is freedom.”

Someone asks about four pointed people… CC, “It’s not worth a hoot being double!!!
“Our energy is low.”

“The flyers were super secret information of the sorcerers, but the photo of a flyer taken by someone outside of our group, served as an omen… Since that moment I began to talk of them. The flyers take away the consciousness of being.”

“Carol Tiggs, in another seminar, spoke of another world (one of those 600). Arriving to that world is something the flyers deprive us of. But if we no more than have consciousness of being in the space between the thumbs, that is why we only speak of I! The more egomaniacal we are the more food for the flyers!”

“Intent is a force, it is not a perception. We are intent!! We are already magicians of intent!! Why are we not total magicians?

“Tensegrity is a key!”

Various persons asked questions about controlled dreaming, stalking… CC said that, “In order to do that first one must gain energy. How? Practicing the tensegrity exercises! Dedicate yourself to the tensegrity now. We are going to arrive to other things, but not in an intellectual manner. (not doing) First one has to tone up that body!”

“Leave the books by CC off to the side!!”

“Don’t do tensegrity in the wind! There are winds that are not winds. Not all of the currents of air are wind. Some are entities. The Earth is a living being.”
(Somebody asks about the allies) CC, “For the moment we are not going to speak of allies and such things.”

“The flyers hang around the ground. They install themselves in the mind around 10 or 12 years old… sometimes more, sometimes less.” (Someone asks about how to guard children from the flyers) CC, “One can’t guard them… But if the parent takes care of them self, then the children always learn by the example.”

(Someone asks about curing). CC, “DJ was not interested in curing. He said that it was useless to erase the symptoms of the illness. What interested him was to jump from the track. It was a change of body, to one he did not use, so that he would be younger. How does one jump from the track? With energy and purpose! DJ had jumped 11 times at least. The nagual Julian gave himself tuberculosis from being a libertine, always at the boarder of death, but changed bodies.”

(Somebody asks about the cures of Pachita, the witch). CC, “They cause a change of level. You can’t give energy! What you give is intent.”

“The sorcerers are super pragmatic beings. So that, for the sorcerers, space and time become concrete entities which the sorcerers have to know if they are going to move in spaces….”


Some paragraphs from the introduction of The Power of Silence that came to mind in relation to the above –

“From where the average man stands,” don Juan said, “sorcery is nonsense or an ominous mystery beyond his reach. And he is right – not because this is an absolute fact, but because the average man lacks the energy to deal with sorcery.”

“Think of it this way,” he proceeded. “It isn’t that as time goes by you’re learning sorcerery; rather, what you’re learning is to save energy. And this energy will enable you to handle some of the energy fields which are inaccessible to you now. And that is sorcery: the ability to use energy fields that are not employed in perceiving the ordinary world we know. Sorcery is a state of awareness. Sorcery is the ability to perceive something which ordinary perception cannot…. We begin then to see – that is, to perceive- something else; not as imagination, but as real and concrete. And then we begin to know without having to use words. And what any of us does with that increased perception, with that silent knowledge, depends on our own temperament.”
